The M100 has an IP68 rating. This means that it is dust-tight, and can survive being submerged in water up to 1.5m deep for up to 30 minutes. While I don’t think anyone is going to be going for a dive with their M100, this IP68 rating is a good reassurance that you can go to the beach with it, or drop it in a pool of water, and it will live to vape another day. All reports of exploding mods that you may have heard or seen in the news were because they were using a mechanical mod or using batteries that were in poor condition.

Do not store your batteries in extreme temperature conditions. Excessive heat or cold are bad for batteries/cells. You also get “Smart Mode” which is meant to be used with Voopoo’s TPP/PnP tanks. This mode will automatically set the optimal wattage for your coil and set wattage limits to ensure that you don’t burn out your coil prematurely. This mod performs reliably in power mode, and bypass and VPC modes work great too, although I did not use them very much. Temperature control mode performance is also pretty great, considering that this is not a DNA mod. The TC modes are accurate and work very consistently. Throttling when it should and not limiting power too early. It’s a great mod for TC for those who don’t want to shell out a bunch of money for a DNA mod.
