The historic Methodist Parsonage and John Boon House were redesigned with interpretive exhibits to better showcase the diverse culture of the Willamette Valley. As the associate executive director for cultural resources at the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation (SBTHP), where he also served as archaeologist for nearly 30 years, Imwalle oversees the property management and maintenance of some of Santa Barbara’s most beloved historic landmarks. He recorded on film at least 13 governors, old-timers now gone, covered bridges now missing, and buildings and homes no longer standing.
