Description
Wedgie Woman ( Ms. Ribble) – A villain created by George and Harold who was based on their teacher Ms. Ribble. After a second mishap with the Hypno-Ring, it convinced her that she is Wedgie Woman. At first, she has no superpowers, but after her hairstyle gets splattered with superpower juice from the third book her hair transforms into arms and she gains super-intelligence. Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally-Evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds): Collectors' Edition (2008) When Grampa invents the Motor Brain, Big Jim sings Itsy Bitsy Spider, which Grampa finds annoying and yells at him, Big Jim starts crying, then Grampa says he needs his help to test the Motor Brain, after which Big Jim tests it and becomes Snug. A little bit later Grampa asks Snug for the Motor Brain, Snug tosses it, and then Grampa wears it and turns into Crud. Later Crud is caught in a trap set by Dog Man, who is disguised as a cat. However, he manages to escape. After that, he makes a lunch bag monster called Munchy and tries to take over the world. Later on, Petey forgives and stops hating him, which Grampa finds it confusing and annoying. He throws the Motor Brain but it was found by Big Jim who puts it on to become Snug again and chases Grampa. At one point in the book Petey says: “Only hate can defeat hate!” Do you think that’s true? Why do you think it was important for Li’l Petey to try and deal with his Grampa’s destructive choices without being mean and hateful? Why did he want his dad to forgive his grandpa? The Lunch Ladies – The Lunch Ladies are the three women who run the cafeteria. They are notorious for cooking horrible, inedible, and possibly lethal food. They quit in the third book when Mr. Krupp says he cannot punish George and Harold for their antics without proof, though they are possibly rehired after the replacements are revealed to be aliens. Two of the Lunch Ladies are named, Miss Creant, the head lunch lady, and Mrs. DePoint, the cook. The revealed names are puns on the word "Miscreant" and the phrase "Misses the point".

For instance, when Petey tries to explain to his son why he struggles so with his deep-seated feelings, as well as dealing with the mean-hearted, hurtful things his father did, he gently says: “Look, kid … sometimes bad things happen … and you can’t just forgive … and you can’t forget! Sometimes all you’ve got left is hate!” Li’l Petey hugs his dad and replies: “I don’t know, Papa. Hate has caused a lot of problems in this world … but it hasn’t solved one yet.”Dav Pilkey had looked to turn the books into a possible TV series, and he had imagined Chris Farley in the titular role.
