Dual-moulded blades extend from the wings, reaching almost 30cm across. Once again, they are a common feature among NINJAGO aircraft, although their position here appears unusual. The set description identifies the resemblance between the bladed wings and a shuriken, which seems appropriate, given Zane's association with the Shuriken of Ice. From the rear, you get a row of exposed hollow studs that make for a good jet array. The Mixel ball joints that connect this assembly to the main jet don’t look out of place, either.

General Vangelis wields two matching accessories, both made from Vengestone. The bigger blade is interesting because there is room to place another accessory, such as the pearl gold Scythe of Quakes. The blending of pearl gold and trans-pink is not entirely successful, but the opportunity for easy customisation is certainly appreciated. Minifigures

The minifigures look as outstanding as ever in my opinion, and the Golden Dragon variants of the ninja stand out as particularly cool and unique! That said, I'm a little bummed that the original four ninja get SO many new minifigure designs this wave, yet there's only one for my favorite of the main characters, Nya. :(

However, here in Australia, we have only this set and 71774 Lloyd's Golden Ultra Dragon, and the rest will be released in August. The excitement doesn't stop there. A variety of LEGO NINJAGO construction toys await, including collectable Spinjitzu spinners, mech action figures, and a wide array of toy cars and other vehicles, plus a vast selection of LEGO NINJAGO minifigures. Encourage your child to challenge their friends, stimulate their creativity, and hone their problem-solving skills with these engaging ninja toys. The possibilities for fun and learning are endless. The wings are mirrored builds. The assembly here isn’t too complex, and the motion is sooth and unlikely to jam up. It’s disappointing that the story didn’t also give us a dark blue Nya Golden Dragon. I suppose she didget a very high-end “dragon type” in 71754 Water Dragon. With the vehicle being tied to Zane, it’s no surprise he’s included in the set. Here he is wearing what’s known as his Golden Robes. This is basically the standard outfit for the ninja in the Crystalized season. The best of the outfit is white, but it features a large amount of gold detailing, including a mainly gold-coloured hood. Zane is joined by Cole in his Golden Dragon form. Apart from the torso, Golden Dragon Cole is mostly constructed of transparent pieces, these go especially well with the print detail on the torso, which also flows on the legs. The dragon-like hood and wings complete the look. The wings are very disappointing on Cole. They aren’t anything like the promotional images and they have very little transparent orange on them.

Golden Zane is among my favourite examples because the white and pearl gold colour combination looks great, particularly across the torso and legs, alongside light bluish grey accents.
