The writing was off, the dialogue didn’t always feel natural, and their personalities just couldn’t be nailed down.

This is about a strong independent FMC who works in a bar and has a secret identity as a phone sex worker. I read as I listened but I usually don't like dual narration I prefer duets but for this book thank goodness I only got to hear Corvin. Some of the others laugh, agreeing with him, before he smiles at me and says, "Cover your ears, Trouble. Even tho she and Zuko were different, she still matched his craziness 😆 They were such a hot and cute couple (yes cute, you will see once you read).Zuko, the eldest Hunter brother, is the male lead in this story and he is one dark, twisted guy but I quite like him. I absolutely love an alpha male and that's what these characters have so much chemistry between them both it's sizzling hot and I love the spice between them both I feel it's perfect.

There are some possible triggers and the author does warn readers so take notice, I didn’t find them to be a problem though. I love the two main characters, they both are seriously messed up and broken, completely own it and just fit together in a really weird and dis-functioning way.

It's a fun read however with lots of back and forth but we don't get into the nitty gritty and this story had so much more to give. This book is the first one in this trilogy and it hooks you right in from the beginning with all the hate, drama, betrayal, hurt, lies, family, friends and love.
