Not quite as heavy as the Venus metal handle, but love the medium weight of this razor for handling as well as the matte rubber wrapped all the way around the handle for a good grip. Though they all claim to be the best razors on the market, between functionality, design, and scope of use — from shaving your legs to maneuvering along your bikini line — certain razors may be more effective than others. I know that putting my daily razor in a Ziplock bag isn’t the end of the world, but the moisture strip sticks and dries to the inside of the bag, the razor isn’t protected, etc.

I don't care what my razor looks like as long it gets the job done and does it well every single time, and my experience with Flamingo involved just that. Our razor features five sharp blades, a 360° comfort system to help protect skin from irritation, a flexible hinge to hug every curve, and a weighted ergonomic handle made with up to 35% recycled plastic. The overall design is more arched so I was able to access the hard-to-reach spots much easier, but it definitely looks pretty similar to crappy disposable razors so I initially doubted its capabilities.My favorite part to the Flamingo razor is how the handle is weighted so it doesn’t slip out of your hand while using. I saw the Billie package recommended changing their blades every 7 shaves or so, and if I really have to do that, it won’t end up being any savings.

The almost straight handle design is what I’m used to, but I wouldn’t say that it’s the best style for hard-to-reach areas. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this razor because I certainly prefer a heavier handle and this one is very light. Razor blades are surrounded by a 360° comfort system with aloe and shea butter including a water-activated lubricating ribbon and strip—this system helps protect skin from irritation and provides an easy glide. I love the general business model of both of these brands — who wouldn’t be interested in stylish and affordable subscription shaving? Flamingo offers premium and award-winning body hair removal products for daily routines and self-care rituals.

I was really happy with the Billie razor, but curious about this other brand I’d heard a lot about, Flamingo. As for the body lotion, I keep it on my bedside table because I love putting it on my hands and feet before I go to sleep. I know that they had been talking about it earlier this year, but a public announcement hasn’t been made as of this moment.

This brings me on to my review of the Flamingo razors, and you can probably already guess it: I love them! The biggest difference between the Flamingo’s razor and the Billie razor is that the Billie is surrounded 360 degrees by its charcoal soap, while the Flamingo is only surrounded approximately 180 degrees by its aloe bar. Overall, I think that all three razors got the job done, but I personally thought that the Billie provided the best results.I’ve been looking into getting the Billie razor, but I’ve tried probably 20 different razors and I still have some issues.
