Dizzy, the most heroic and famous of the Yolkfolk, lives a care-free existence with his friends and family. Or at least he did, until twisted wizard Zaks kidnapped his girlfriend, Daisy, and put various people under his mystic power. Being a fine, upstanding member of the community, not to mention a touch lonely without his missus, Dizzy intends to put matters right.
There's a nuisance about dealing with the inventory: you carry three objects at once, one of them (the rope) pretty much everywhere. While this just makes planning a necessity, having to press "B" five or six times to bring an object from the bottom to the first slot could have been worked out by using the A button to select the object to be dropped / swapped, and then the start button to pause and display the inventory.
Also scattered around the map are scrolls where you get to play a sliding puzzle mini-game called “Puzzle Swap”. Campbell, Stuart (January 1994). "Fantastic Dizzy". Amiga Power. No.33. p.89 . Retrieved 10 September 2021.
