You can tap on a room and edit the schedule or access the room settings, where you can view the battery level for the thermostat, rename it and turn Open Window Detection on or off. Editing a schedule was made super-easy as a result of the ‘copy’ feature, which lets you duplicate a schedule with just one tap, rather than having to input it all for each day and on each device.

Requires a three-channel Wiser kit ( Wiser Thermostat Kit 3) – note that you won’t require the third channel, because the hot water control in a combi system is not separate. A two-channel kit is not suitable for a combi system with two heating zones as the second channel in the two-channel kits is only suitable for hot water control in a conventional boiler system (with a separate hot water tank).Looking at my current base plate configuration above, it looks as though I have a L, N, CH ON (3) and (4) ON connection, but no HW OFF (1) connection. Lets say hypothetically I can reroute the landing thermostat wires to the programmer base plate. If I were to do some rewiring how would I translate my current base plate config to the three channel youve highlighted? Its not clear to me what (4) is used for in the two channel set up. Additionally why is there no HW OFF wiring? Is my hot water is being controlled by the (3) or (4) connection erroneously? Do I even have a HW ON connection? Central heating is not available independently of the hot water – water will always be heated when the heating is on whether it’s used or not. The Wiser 3 channel thermostat kit is ideal for properties with two heating zones. Control your heating and hot water more easily with smart technology.

Can provide good pressure in some residential areas where mains water pressure is low, particularly if the water circuit is also upgraded with pumps. Although the TRVs make a small humming noise while operating, I found that they were very quiet in operation. Once I was used to them, I could easily sleep while they operated. Heat Pumps are also supported and selectable in the app as the available heat source. Underfloor heating is also supported: wet systems need the Underfloor Heating Controller; electric systems can use the Drayton Wiser Eletrical Heat Switch. On the 2-channel programmer where you set your schedules, try setting the hot water side to off and the central heating side to on. If only the central heating side comes on and only your radiators get hot, you have independent control and thereby, a fully pumped system. Honeywell Evohome gives more flexibility, with its custom actions and IFTTT channel. Its radiator thermostats are also more fully featured, letting you set the temperature you want from the room. If you want the most powerful and flexible multiroom heating system, then, we’d recommend Evohome.A cold water feed or expansion tank is situated higher than the hot water cylinder, usually in the loft or attic. Consists of a central heating boiler and a separate, pressurised hot water tank fed directly by the cold water mains feed, so the tank heats and stores hot water at mains pressure. We did notice a slight delay of around 10 seconds to one minute between boosting the heating from both the radiator thermostat or the app and the boiler springing into action. The further away from the Heat Hub the thermostat is, the longer the delay. Initially, we also struggled to get the radiator thermostat in the room furthest from the Heat Hub to remain connected to the system at all times. It would often drop the signal, meaning we were unable to control it via the app. However, after installing an optional Wiser Smart Plug – which also doubles as a range extender for the system – in a room between the Heat Hub and the troublesome radiator thermostat, connection issues were no longer a problem. Installation and servicing is usually cheaper than other system types due to less equipment and plumbing - required. Custom Moments can be created, where you set the target temperature that you want. For example, you could set a holiday mode where the heating’s mostly off but give a boost at set times to warm it through.
