At first, the priest stalks the girl, but later it is revealed that he will stop at nothing, including blackmail and murder, just to get close to her. The script relies too much on mild sacrilege for its effects, instead of concentrating on more interesting aspects of religious repression. This is another tale of moral hypocrisy, misogyny, and perversion at the hands of supposed peacekeepers, very much like House of Whipcord except that Whipcord veers into the “women in prison” genre whereas this one focuses on an insane and corrupt priest.
