Justin Hurwitz won two oscars for La La Land (best original score and best original song) and had previously written the score for Damien Chazelle’s previous hit, Whiplash. but apart from that I'm very happy, having expected a terrible sounding record from all the problems reported below. Owning this vinyl album is akin to possessing a realm of relentless emotion, etched in time, yet so palpable in its contemporary resonance. I'm not an expert in music, so if the problem of the sound quality of colored vinyls is not very noticeable I don't really care. At least mine didn’t jump or skip but there is dreadful surface noise throughout the whole of the second side coupled with loud crackling on many of the tracks on both sides.
