Now we know why – the Nids are getting a substantial range overhaul for Warhammer 40k 10th edition, including an update to the classic Termagantsand a new Winged Tyranid Prime model. Also after the reveal for the new Chaos options in the Kill Team Nachmund box set the predictions of said Legionnaires squad look to be 100% spot on. We had already seen several rounds of rules rumors for the heir to the Warmaster, and now we have his datasheet as well: First up are a totally new kit for the Possessed that is scaled up to 40mm bases and stands shoulder to shoulder with a Primaris in Gravis armor. The kit looks like there will be many bits, and they even mention it is a big, multi-part kit. New Cultists

Bolster your forces – be they Traitor or Loyalist – with this set of two Adeptus Astartes HQ options. Originally available in the Space Marine Heroes set, these two plastic miniatures can lead your forces in both the martial and spiritual arenas. The Praetor is clad in Cataphractii Terminator armour, wielding a chainfist and a combi-melta, while the Chaplain is in artificer armour with a plasma pistol and Crozius Arcanum. You also get a set of Horus Heresy transfers. Dice: Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Due to the nature of Chaos and those who choose to serve it, not long after the end of the Heresy the Traitor Legions, save for the Word Bearers, largely stopped operating as unified military organisations and instead devolved into a series of separate and often competing smaller units called "warbands." The Traitor Marines who command these warbands, all potent Chaos Champions, seek their own personal glorification and the eventual opportunity to become Daemon Princes in their own right by earning victories in the cause of Chaos. Plasma Gun (Optional replacement for one Traitor Marine's Boltgun or for 2 Traitor Marines if unit numbers more than 10 Heretic Astartes)Where many of the Traitor Legions are screaming berserkers or chanting demagogues, the Alpha Legion are subtle manipulators par excellence. Their battles are carefully planned, full of traps and schemes – and with the help of the Hydra’s Wail, a sorcerous jamming gadget sneaky enough to put Phobos kill teams to shame, they can shut down any enemy’s command structure. Here are the other rumors for new Raptors and Warp Talon 40k rules that have been making the rounds as well: These grosteque guys lend a classic Lost and Damned feeling to any army of Traitoris Astartes – and they’ll be a welcome addition for any Chaos Lord who enjoys commanding a Cultist-heavy horde of mortal rabble, whether it’s an Alpha Legion rebel cell or the indentured helots of the Iron Warriors. Plasma Pistol (Optional replacement for Aspiring Champion's Boltgun or Bolt Pistol, or for one Traitor Marine's Bolt Pistol) The Traitor Legions were the most powerful component of the forces of Chaos which fought during the Heresy, which also included the myriad Daemons of the Warp, Human Traitors from the Imperial Army, the potent infantry and combat walker forces of the Dark Mechanicum and Chaos Cultists drawn from across the galaxy.

Codex Chaos Space Marines turned up just as June turned into July, and Chaos Daemons straddled August and September. As you might expect from the guys who started the whole ‘fall to Chaos’ trend, the Word Bearers are experts at channelling warp entities. The most strong-willed (or foolishly naive) of their kind can even rent out their body to powerful daemonic forces in an Exalted Possession, gaining unnatural strength… at the cost of maybe becoming a fleshy marionette for eternity. Granted the forbidden knowledge and strength of Chaos, a Champion can lead armies, conquer whole worlds and achieve greatness and ultimately, immortality. At the same time, the gods who choose to favour this Champion can bring their influence to bear upon him, so that even as he furthers his own ambitions, he also furthers the dominance and plots of his patrons. The Prison of Madness (Unknown Date.M37) - Abaddon conducts experiments on captured Loyalist Space Marines, torturing them with repeated visions of a future in which the Imperium falls to Chaos. Despite the psycho-indoctrinated mental resilience of the Adeptus Astartes, such is the ring of truth in these prophecies that those who do not take their own lives are left as soul-blasted husks that eventually swear allegiance to the Despoiler. For only 1 CP this can be quite strong ( even with the serious reductions in CP) and could hopefully keep your high-cost units alive! Iron Warriors

Ryan Williams – Aeldari (Battle Host) – 1st Place

Save for a few Champions dedicated to the most pure service of Khorne, Chaos Champions do not live and fight alone. Other followers of Chaos are drawn to them, either through the will of the gods or through the draw of a Champion's own glory and reputation. Games Workshop announced the new Eldar codex as part of its Las Vegas Open preview stream on February 1, 2022. But the rulebooks’ release cycle was delayed on December 4 2020, when GW put the release of the Death Guardcodex on ice due to “unavoidable delays to crucial shipments”. That book finally arrived in late January 2021. After killing a unit, the unit is then considered to be in destruction, massacre, and slaughter for the rest of the game

Purging of Azoth (999.M37) – At one time known as a firebrand Puritan by whose hand both guilty and innocent had burned on the pyre, Inquisitor Jhovus Theon himself turns renegade when he falls under the influence of the denizens of the Warp and in league with Dark Apostles of the Word Bearers Traitor Legion and triggers a full scale daemonic incursion on the planet Azoth. Theon’s former peers petition the Adeptus Astartes Revilers Chapter for aid, and while victory is theirs, the subsequent Azoth Drop costs the Chapter dearly. Having slain the fallen Inquisitor and purged the cursed planet, the surviving battle-brothers are subjected to mnemonic purgation so that Inquisitor Theon's sins may be expunged for all time from the annals of the Imperium. Taking the example of their fallen Primarch, the Night Lords love nothing more than to creep into position before throwing a surprise party for their victims. This year’s gift? An outrageously bloody assault! While In Midnight Clad, these bat-eared terrors can use the shadows to weave between curtains of incoming fire – despite being eight-foot supermen. To appease the Chaos Gods and avoid the fate of being turned into a Chaos Spawn , you’re going to have to be victorious in battle. Winning a battle earns you Chaos points, which you can spend on Personal Glory, Dark God Glory, or Warfleet Glory. It has taken many long years – and countless sacrifices – but finally Ahriman, once the Chief Librarian of the Thousand Sons and now a sorcerer in exile, is ready to attempt the most audacious and daring feat of his long life. His quest for knowledge and power has all been for one purpose, and he would now see that purpose fulfilled. His goal? Nothing less than undoing his greatest failure and reversing the Rubric that damned his Legion…The Grief of Herodin (973.M35) – A terrible wave of bloodshed and insanity descends from the Nightmare Rifts. Chaos Space Marines, massed cult-hordes and waves of Daemons falling upon the Imperium in an orgy of death later termed not an invasion, but a genocide. Amongst the numberless hosts of the Great Enemy is spotted the Decimator, a towering construct fuelled by the powers of the Warp and bearing the weapons of hybrid xenos manufacture. The war machine is later linked to the heretek Spektraal Cult, thought banished during the Scouring.
