When washing your extensions, it is important to use a sulfate-free and alcohol-free shampoo and conditioner. These products are gentle on the hair and do not strip away its natural oils, keeping it soft and manageable. Additionally, use a heat protection spray before styling with any heated styling tools to safeguard the extensions from heat damage.Made from real human hair, it effortlessly blends with your natural strands, ensuring that nobody will ever suspect you are wearing extensions. However, if you don’t know how to look after your extensions, then what’s the point? Locate the clips: Identify the location of the extension clips by feeling for them underneath your hair. Release the clips: Use your thumb and index finger to gently press and release the clips. Do this for each clip in a slow and controlled manner to avoid any hair breakage.Stranded ponytail extensions come in a range of five different styles, giving you the option to match any look you’re going for. We have great variations of lengths, from 16 to 24 inches, and weights ranging from 170 to 204 grams. All of Stranded’s synthetic extensions can be heated up to 180 °C but I’ve found that the hair keeps its style really well and haven’t actually used any heat on them so far. It’s recommended that you only use heat to adjust the hair rather than completely restyling it.
