So immediately I get this dense sweet, massively projecting bubble gum accord, it really leaps of the skin, like a combination of old school fruity and cinnamon bubble gum. Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Night Vision EDT Men is a very good, sweet tonka, green mandarin, green apple, spicy chili pepper, sage, and cardamom fragrance. While "all" the notes are there from the beginning in the opening, with all of that sensory overload the first thing I get is the tobacco and the smokiness of the incense. It's sweet from the vanilla-benzoin-Iso E combo, but not too sweet. The cinnamon and citrus are there from the beginning, and I begin to notice them right after the smoky tobacco and sweetness. As it moves to the mid, the citrus tones down a little for me and the cinnamon is joined by fruitiness and cumin, but the cinnamon is still very strong to my nose. The vanilla gradually gets stronger and the woods get warmer as time goes by. I only notice the leather because it's mentioned in the notes, and it's the very sweet kind that practically blends in with the vanilla and tobacco. Good thing, too, because I hate strong leather notes. The drydown is a little less sweet on my skin, but I still get cinnamon, vanilla, tobacco and woods. Projection is 2-3 feet for me, and the scent lasts 6-7 hours, with a couple more hours as a skin scent. Holds up well in 75 degrees and under, and the more under that the better. Personally, I would not wear it in weather warner than that, or if I was going to be very active.

Azzaro Pour Homme Ginger Lover EDT is a very good, mild, sweet, spicy ginger, green vetiver, and lime fragrance.Reminds me a lot of Spicebomb, not exactly the smell per se, but the way it combines high levels of sweetness with sharp cinnamon, clove, heaps of vanilla, woody oriental amber aromachemicals to bring this massive wave of sweet spicy projection. At the same time it is very clean, a bit showergel-like throughout, very very designer-y.

Heart and Base notes: Settles to a Smokier fruity sweetness, and the Tropical Mango stays strong, slightly Floral-Woody Longevity is around 7-9hours on me. Projects heavily for the first 1-2 hours on me and then forms a nice bubble scent around me for an hour until it becomes a skin scent for the last few hours. Sometimes, just looking at a unique and beautifully designed bottle brings me as much joy as the scent itself. I finally decided to plunge straight into the realm of fragrances as I wanted to elevate myself from the rest and get that edge. All it was that sparked my journey into fragrances was put simply, a night time clubbing/partying/dinner occasion that I really wanted to make an impression and really got for the win.The sense of smell...what a thing. You sure don't have any control on how it develops and perceives the world. I've have thrown out (I'm not passing on future headache bombs) or given away a TON of my early "awesome" frags in the last month. Things like Montblanc Individuel...one time that powdery showery frag was nice...now? I have given away two brand new bottles. It’s a good grab and go type of fragrance when you want to smell good yet don’t want to think about it all that hard. Azzaro Wanted by Night is the fragrance of a modern-day seducer. An extraordinary man. Elegant, bold, mysterious, he is surrounded by an air of confidence and power. Whether night or day, he attracts and arouses desire… For him, it’s an endless night; and for them, it’s a one-on-one moment that they will never forget..." Pretty much this a sweet cinnamon dominant fragrance so if you don’t like cinnamon then I’d avoid this) Parfums De Marly Herod EDP Men is a great, intense, sweet, tobacco, smokey incense, vanilla, and spicy fragrance.

SEASONS: Winter, spring, summer, fall, colder days, daytime, nighttime, and climate-controlled environments. Wanted by Night shares the same realm as the multitude of conventional date night fragrances, such as Dolce & Gabbana’s The One, and The One EDP, being both warm, sweet, spicy, and sitting relatively close to the skin after application — although, I’d be remiss if I didn’t applaud Wanted by Night for its superior performance as it pertains to longevity. Whereas with many of the typical “come hither” fragrances the product is rather fleeting, with Wanted by Night, the scent has the staying power to last you well into the next morning if the need arises. I personally don’t like the dry down of this scent anymore but I still love the opening of it. Last time I wore it around a month ago, I had to wash it off because the dry down just isn’t my thing anymore. Wanted by Night is dominated by the orange at the top, along with the cinnamon, and everything else within the provided note breakdown seems to cling to the patchouli, and ISO E Super molecule in vestigial amounts, providing an apparent, though vague sweetness that lends itself less towards a ripe orange, and more towards what would be a spicy, sugary orange marmalade. Having said that, there’s something about the composition that prevents it from meandering aimlessly into the territory of gourmand, while imbuing the fragrance with an air of slight modernity, and class. Stated plainly: it smells as if you were daring enough, you could eat it, but it’s clear you should not.John Varvatos EDT Men is OK, a faint, sweet, vanilla, caramel, fruity tamarind, dates, and ambery fragrance. I have slept on this line from Azzaro for way too long. The only Azzaro's I tried were ones from the Chrome line. Not impressed.

This is the very BEST in its class- Class meaning a fall party mass pleasing clubby fun scent to attract friends and bring people in. This may not be the best casual, work, date, sexy bad boy scent, but friends clubs and fun, um YEAH.

Finding absolute loves like this gem is what keeps my fragrance passion going as strong as it is. It's crazy that one of my true loves was hiding under my nose amongst a brand that I snubbed for the longest time. Azzaro Wanted by Night EDP is a great, very sweet, spicy cinnamon, fruity, smoky incense, tobacco, resinous benzoin, vanilla, and woody fragrance. This falls into the category of Y EDP, & Versace Eros (2012-2016) (we don't speak of the modern garbage). But Y edp is better for spring and eros is better for winter. Wanted by night is a fall masterpiece for fun times- I have tried over 200+ frags- I have yet to find a better scent in its category with a festive fall vibe. I'm certain that this one is more so targeted towards the early 20s crowd and not me, but since I have run out of designers to sample, here it comes. In the end, Wanted by Night is quite lovely. By no stretch of the imagination is it a paradigm shattering masterpiece, but it is undoubtedly a great staple in any enthusiast’s collection — capable of being worn any evening not exceeding 80° Fahrenheit.
