Nat: yes a BURP is as Peter describes if you look at the third picture on the Dark Dragons Den you will see the trooper minifig push open a cave door, that whole door is a BURP. Also, it was almost immediately relieved from dragon wagon pulling service to instead be the horse to be ridden by my favorite knight on all occasions. We get our usual assortment of brick bricks and foliage to give the facade a little bit more variety. Altering the inside of the jaw to accommodate the flame piece would be brilliant, so I’m quite perplexed as to why they didn’t opt for that solution.

With the big gate, impressive height, and cohesive colors and design, it looks the part of the evil lair. Once you take it out, you will still be able to slighty form and bend its shape for a few minutes (but watch out, it's freaking hot, you will burn your fingers without protection), so that's a last opportunity to make sure that its form and holes fit your minifig as perfectly as possible. I think Lego Dragon just like in many Dragons series of Playmobil should become a completly additional set. The fourth knight is weak because he has that ho hum plane look to him, but the queen has a crown and we put the gold spear with her for a weapon.My son has lots of legos experience and neede much more help than normal for a 6-12, this is best for an experienced 7 yr old builder or novice 8 yr old. His head has been used on other dragon knights in the theme, but it looks especially good on the wizard.

I guess it would be difficult fitting the flame piece INTO the dragon’s mouth but just drilling a hole into its chin and shoving it in there seems a little lazy to me. With some of the older castle themes, the solid brighter color looked good with the simple print in one or two colors.For all the shortcomings of the exterior, I’m glad that they paid quite a bit of attention to the interiors.
