Grumpy/sunshine, engagement in trouble, royal romance, romantic suspense, all the feels, beautifully broken MMC. You can either find my head buried in my Kindle, listening to inspiring heart ripping music or typing away on the computer twisting and turning the lives of my characters while driving my readers crazy with anticipation. Stars equals I am buying a physical copy of this book. I will read this book at least 10 more times, it is the best ever.

She has a fast attraction to the man sent to find her, Keller. Keller is determined to keep his distance from the outrageous American due to the difference in their stations and tries to put space between them despite their forced proximity as he trains her in the art of royalty. As the two decide to give in to their obvious physical attraction, the book got so hot. I’m not always a fan of dom storylines, but this definitely had me wishing someone would storm my castle! What I love about Quinn’s books though, is that she can take me from this aspect of a story to a hilarious moment where I’m laughing at Lilly trying to take Keller down by showing him the “moves” that one of the other bodyguards taught her.

Publication Order of Exposed Books

Meghan Quinn has given us a grumpy sunshine romance that is filled with laughter, heartbreak, and a beautiful happy ending… or at least for now it’s a happy ending. Royally Not Ready Reading Experience This book delivered on everything I love about Meghan Quinn. I laughed out loud, I cried more than once, and I am going to have the worst book hangover in literal history. Not to mention I think this might be one of the spiciest books Meghan Quinn has written her. Lilly is the next and only heir to the throne of Torkesthrope and is to get married and have children. Her and Keller are already engaged and set to get married.Their relationship is being tested with the short time frame of just four weeks until they are to wed, the pre-wedding classes, and having to obstain from sex. Lilly begins to feel that her and Keller are growing apart the closer they get to the wedding and begins to have doubts if he will be at the altar as Keller doesn't believe he is a good fit for the role of being by her side as the future prince. There's not much more they can take and now a threat to her and Keller's safety has arised, making him more stressed to keep her safe and trying to catch whomever has threatened them before the big day. Will they catch them in time, and will there be a royal wedding? The thing I loved most about this book—well, there were a LOT of things I loved—but the thing that made it stand out from the other things I've read from Meghan was the mystery element! I LOVED it! I love romances with that hint of mystery, and this was more than a hint. It was huge part of the plot, and I was so here for it. I thought I had it figured out several times, and while my original hunch was *partially* right, I didn't totally have it, so for that, I give major props. This has been in my library since it was released, and I finally decided that it was time to read it. I needed something that would be funny, cute, and a light read. This, however, didn't give me that. I'm usually giggling and laughing out loud with Meghan's books.

First baseman for the Atlanta Warriors, named Brady Matthews, is well known for being Atlanta’s gigolo and believed he was just taking Michael Banks, a new teammate, out on the town. He didn’t realize his friend from college, Jane, would turn up at their table and turn his whole world upside down. All in all, I’m immediately buying the illustrated hardcover to go on my shelf. And I’m adding this to my top 2023 reads list as well. this book was an emotional gymnasium and i'm still crying. i just finished this book at 5am and i'm not sure i'm going to be sleeping any time soon, but Meghan Quinn did it again. I'm speechless. You know a book is great when you run out of the “OMG hot” and “that made me laugh” tabs. And this was the first book I officially fully annotated!! I wish y’all could see it! I wish the ending gave us readers more time with Lilly and Keller, it did feel a bit rushed but over all I finished it with content and appreciated the wild royal ride Meghan took us on throughout this book. I really enjoyed Lilly's journey through becoming a royal and learning more about her family and history of her country. Her sass gots me every time but her emotions felt like they were everywhere throughout this book. Keller on the other hand is his same old self grumpy and stubborn with a huge soft spot for Lilly. Royally Not Ready gets 5 stars, 3 peppers, and 1 tissue from me. The happy ending is beautiful and I loved how Meghan tied in previous conversations between our main characters toward the end of the book. The world building was fantastic as well. What really won me over though was the dynamic between the characters that brought laugh out loud moments. Final Thoughts on Royally Not Ready Royally not ready had three main tropes for me, Royal Romance, Enemies to Lovers and Grumpy/Sunshine. I think Grumpy/Sunshine was the predominant trope for me and I was happy that was the case. Keller was very prim and proper, just as you would expect an employee of a royal family to be; but don't let that fool you. Keller has a naughty side that certainly fulfilled the steam factor for this book.
