This Wakefield pub is taking Coronation fever to a new extreme with a non-stop coronation party providing a weekend full of events and activities for the family from 5 May to 8 May. Royal Rare Breeds on Saturday, May 6 will allow people to meet the King’s favourite rare breeds, while Sunday, May 7 will celebrate wool, including sheep shearing demonstrations every hour. Finally, visitors on Monday, May 8 will be invited to help with cleaning and carding wool and planting part of the giant green cross for the green king.Oldham Town will host one of the UK’s big screens so that communities can gather to watch the event together.
