Maggie Lovitt is the Lead News Editor at Collider and panelist on Collider Dailies. In addition to reporting on the latest entertainment news, she is also an actor and member of the Screen Actors Guild based out of the Mid-Atlantic Region. The strange thing here is that they’ve given the DVD, Blu-ray and 4K versions such a huge gap, compared to the more conventional digital release date. This could be to save the physical formats for a big Christmas push, which fits in with the 31st October timeline. The best explanation for the later release dates is the holiday factor when it comes to DVD, Blu-ray and 4K sales. The 2nd film is definitely going to be a big one in terms of perfect gift options, so the companies behind the film are clearly putting it out with this in mind. Cast: Tom Cruise, Miles Teller, Jennifer Connoly, Jon Hamm, Ed Harris, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Monica Barbaro, Val Kilmer Forging The Darkstar—Pushing the limits beyond Mach-10, the future of aviation is unveiled through an impressive experimental aircraft specially designed for the movie.

Cleared For Take Off—Witness the most intense film training program as the cast prepare themselves for filming while pulling multiple G's in a fighter plane.Selected items are only available for delivery via the Royal Mail 48® service and other items are available for delivery using this service for a charge. Also today, Lionsgate has just officially set Steven Soderbergh’s The Limey (1999) for 4K Ultra HD Steelbook release on 10/11. The disc will include Dolby Vision and HDR10 high dynamic range, with the existing 5.1 Dolby TrueHD sound mix. Extras will include audio commentary with Steven Soderbergh and writer Lem Dobbs, a second commentary with Soderbergh, Dobbs, and actors Peter Fonda, Terence Stamp, Barry Newman, and Lesley Ann Warren, and the film's isolated score. With the effects of COVID starting to slowly feel like a distant memory, the film industry is reverting to its previous cinema-to-physical time frames. This means that there’s more of a wait than before with the likes of The Batman hitting cinemas in the UK on the 4th March 2022 and DVD, Blu-ray and 4K for the 13th June 2022, compared to the 30th September 2021 and the 20th December 2021 for No Time To Die. One more bit of physical 4K news today: Kino Lorber Studio Classics has just revealed that they’re working on a UHD release of Brett Ratner’s Red Dragon (2002) which will include a new Dolby Vision HDR grade. There’s no street date yet, but we’ll post an update when it’s official. The turning point came with Spider-Man No Way Home, which was incredibly popular during its cinema run and acts as a good model for Top Gun 2. As a result, it looks like production companies with successful big screen movies will then delay the launch for home entertainment to give the film the best chance at success at the box office.

We don’t yet have a set DVD and Blu-ray release date. That’s not surprising considering the movie only hit theaters at the end of May. We need to look at movies from the same production studio to get an idea of the release date. And we have a bit of 4K Digital news as well: Disney has just added Tim Burton’s stop-motion animated classic The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) to its Disney+ streaming service in fully-remastered 4K with HDR. And the film looks great, complete with light but organic grain. Fingers crossed this means two things: First, that Disney could release it as a physical 4K UHD title in the weeks and months ahead, and second, that maybe Disney will start getting a lot more serious about remastering other deserving Disney, 20th Century Studios, Touchstone, and Hollywood Pictures catalog film content in 4K for release on Disney+ and physical 4K Ultra HD.A Love Letter To Aviation—Tom Cruise shares his passion for aviation as he pilots his own aircraft, a vintage World War II P-51 Mustang, which would have been the Top Gun aircraft of its day. Masterclass with Tom Cruise – Cannes Film Festival—Tom Cruise discusses his incredible career at the flagship event of the 75th Cannes Film Festival. Things seemed likely to go a little differently in North America, with a release date expected even earlier than in the UK for digital, Blu-ray and 4K. That was the case for the Early Access digital format, which is also available in the US and Canada. However, for the physical formats there’s even longer to wait than in Britain. And Warner Bros Home Entertainment and DC have officially announced The Flash: The Complete Eighth Season for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 10/18. The set will include all 20 episodes along with deleted scenes, a gag reel, and 2 featurettes ( The DC Heroes: Path to Glory and The Flash: Standing the Test of Time).
