I also think that it would work well on all skin types, as it works on my skin, and I have heard some rave reviews from those with oily skin! Loreal has been killing with their foundations lately- I keep hearing good things about their infallible stick. Our social channels are bursting with cheap, chic makeup offers, ensuring you never miss out on a luxury steal. Depending on your hair type, it can be a bit difficult to wash out and might cause some build-up (btw, this is not true to all silicones, only the non-volatile types). I also found that Pro Glow didn’t make me overly oily when my skin decided to get oily again, which was an unexpected bonus!

As I mentioned before, I have dry skin and this feels very hydrating without emphasizing any dry patches. In comparison, L’Oreal does make a great Pro-Matte Foundation that is pretty similar to this, but slightly fuller coverage. The end result reminds me of a makeup artist trick I used to always be fascinated by; buffing a few drops of face oil into the skin before foundation, to give that gloriously smooth, sheeny finish.

First off I’m sorry I didn’t post at all last week, work and life have me busy lately so I was pretty bummed I wasn’t able to get anything posted.I’d also draw your attention to the fact that this foundation doesn’t clog around the upper lip fuzz danger zone – it’s light and liquid enough to blend nicely over it. In cosmetics, it’s often in products that are supposed to keep your skin matte as it has great oil-absorbing abilities. So many high-end foundations are very clever in that they can give you that matte, perfectly set finish but still be glowing (Dior’s Forever, Chanel’s Lumiere Velvet, off the top of my head) but sometimes I crave a bounce to my skin, the feeling of moisture on the surface.

There are quite a few swatch images out there and its fairly easy to work out what shade you will be.If you are into more of a full coverage look this isn’t going to be for you, I would suggest trying the L’Oreal Lumi. I’ll start boldly here and say that if you did a blind test with L’Oreal’s Pro Glow foundation and some similar, very expensive foundations (I’ll use Lancome’s Teint Idole here for ease, seeing as though I’ve tested the two out in tandem so many times) then you would be very hard-pushed indeed to tell the difference. It honestly is everything I want in a foundation, feels so luxurious, and makes my skin look and feel so gorgeous. With this foundation it is less of a glow and more a lit from within effect, luminous and dewy but not shiny or shimmery, thank goodness. I did have to blot with the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation sooner than I did with my more matte foundations.

I also love the fact that a little goes a long way, and if you use the L'Oreal blender it takes few seconds to apply it.I picked up the shade 202 Creamy Natural, which was the perfect shade for my fair skin with red undertones. As for hair care, it is a non-volatile silicone meaning that it stays on the hair rather than evaporates from it and smoothes the hair like no other thing. One of the main things I usually hate about budget foundations is how they feel on the skin, I usually find them to feel heavy or just being able to feel it on the skin throughout the day which I really don't like. Matte foundations are a bit too drying on me and I feel they can make me look cake-y, so I'm curious how the two would blend.
