If I had to say how I feel about Volume 15/16 then I'd say that I'm not as impressed as I wanted it to be. It's still good, but the amount of hype put into The Overlord Reddit and Discord are the ONLY places you can trust to provide the correct link to Hitori's translations. escape from the extra work he gotten following the Kingdom's annexation as well as to help the twins develop their social skills by interacting with dark elves. After returning to place the treasures left behind by his father,he informs the mother of the one who boar his child and told her she had died and allows her a chance to make amends

The prologue starts within the Slane Theocracy with the council having a meeting discussing the events that are playing in the Kingdom and it's destruction at the hands of the Sorcerer Kingdom. They try to understand how to proceed from here in regards how to deal with the Sorcerer Kingdom including discussing all there technological accomplishments and resources they have acquired and what sort of defenses they The way that the translation is worded (though I don't know if it's an accurate translation) makes it seem as if Ainz allows them to stay at the Elven Kingdom by themselves or perhaps without Ainz's oversight as if he's leaving them to their own devices to combat the Slane Theocracy's re-energized military offensive. If you are going to talk about Volume 15 content that was NOT translated yet, your comment should be tagged either way, even inside posts with the "Spoiler - Volume 15". Even though ending with Overlord Volume 18 is now the current plan, this ending is still years off in the future since Maruyama has two more novels to complete so the author’s plans could change again in the meantime. On August 5, 2019, German publisher KSM Anime claimedthat Maruyama confirmed at AnimagiC 2019 that ending with Overlord Volume 17 is the final plan. However, other attendees claimedthat Maruyama simply said that he was losing the energy to write and he is very tired. He would first aim for completing 17 books because even finishing 16 volumes is exhausting. It was confirmed that the story arc would be spilt into two volumes in a tweet released by Maruyama on March 12, 2022. So, if you want to support Hitori's work, read the translations posted here and thank them in the comments. At the time, Maruyama didn’t explain is how this major change to Overlord Volume 15 impacted his plans for the Overlord light novels’ ending. It wasn’t until the end of July 2022 that he confirmed that Overlord Volume 18 will now contain the ending. Perhaps you guys forgot, but I made a blog post or two about my predictions for volume 15 and onwards two years ago. I've managed to successfully avoid any spoilers or leaks besides seeing new artwork for the volume. I have a few remarks and predictions to recap:

If you are going to discuss Volume 15 content that has NOT been translated yet, your comment should be ALWAYS be spoiler tagged, even inside posts with the "Spoiler - Volume 15" flair. Reddit and Discord are the ONLY places that you can trust with the correct link for Hitori's translations. Around the same time, Ainz travels to the Elven Kingdom with the twins, for A vacation meant to help Aura and Mare make friends. But, she had been thinking about what sort of excuse to make just before she came here. Even though their master was wiser than her, she believed that with enough time spent, her plans could rival even him.

Zesshi might be sent to take out the Elf King, who had raped her mother. She'll most likely try to accomplish this task eagerly, but it remains to be seen if she will really take him out and whether she will defect to Ainz (as many Overlord fans hope for some reason).

Volume 12

If you see other people posting Volume 15's translation as their own, there is a huge possibility that they just stole Hitori's work and probably are making profit out ot it. Japanese publisher Enterbrain released Overlord Volume 14: The Witch of the Falling Kingdom on March 12, 2020.

In other words, scammers/frauds have tried to make money off of Hitori's translations. And we believe there is a good chance they will try again. In the past, Maruyama had been consistently releasing at least one Overlord book per year. However, in recent year Maruyama had trouble keeping to his planned schedule. Volume 12 was delayed by a month and Overlord Volume 13 was supposed to come out in December 2017, but it was not published until April 2018. Overlord Volume 14 was similarly delayed by a year. Unfortunately, the Overlord Volume 15 announcement didn’t include a preview of the new book cover art by so-bin. Pic credit: Kadokawa YouTube Channel Overlord Volume 16 is the second half of Overlord: The Half Wood Elf God-kin Her Talent is pretty broken though. If I'm interpreting this right she should be able to use the strongest ability of the previous owner of her weapon, in this case being [Charon’s Guidance], which allows her to use [TGoALiD] which confirms that Surshana is like Ainz who has the Eclipse job. In that case we might be able to see Ainz being able to use [World Break] or [Grand Catastrophe] if he steals that Talent from her. During the time the Sorcerer Kingdom Representatives visit, the Slain Theocracy launches a big offensive. The twins, who were inspired by Ainz's wisdom run through the Sea of Trees endlessly." The Karsanas City State Alliance arc as suggested in V14's intermission might be the final arc of Overlord, as they will move towards the center of the continent and fight the demihuman nations existing there.

Volume 13

Neia and her followers, or the "Cult of the Faceless One", will spread their ideology to nearby nations as suggested in the side story. It'll most definitely become a major religion for a while. Initially, Maruyama’s goal was to reach an ending somewhere around Overlord Volume 20. In the past, he stated that he has “no intention to drag the story on and on” despite having “50 volumes worth” of ideas. He just wants “readers to relax and read” although the author is “writing with an end in mind.”
