She ends up in the same college as her brother and Theo and after seeing what he acts like she decides its time to move on with one of his hockey team mates.

I know college is the time to do crazy stuff and learn but she just really ruined my desire to keep reading this book. This book involved more immaturity and lack of communication between the main characters which always has me yelling at their stupidity 😂 but it ended in a very sweet and happy way that made up for it. The push and pull between them throughout the whole novel, gosh it kept me on my tippy toes, I was like no! The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars cause I wanted more of their time as a couple, they fought with each other for like 90% of the story so it would have been better to see them a lil bit more as a lovey dovey couple yk, lmao Blake and Theo would have cringed given the entire time of their bantering.

Blake was fresh and fun trying to find herself Theo was a brooding mess and Blake put him in his place which i definitely enjoyed seeing! I loved how fiercely protective he was with Blakely, having her best interests at heart even if he didn't always show it in the right way.

Blakely was such a strong character, speaking up for herself, going after what she wanted and not taking any shit from anyone, Theo included. I truly couldn’t put this book down and thought every twist and turn kept me HOOKED the entire time. There was an initial ‘you want someone who challenges’ you vibe but then he didn’t… I finished because I was invested in the ending but it isn’t one I’ll read again.Theo and Blakely shared a history from childhood and were friends until the first time Theo saw her in a dress on her 15th birthday. And Theo, hockey captain, a star with a future in the NHL, bringing girls to their knees but never committing, was just so deliciously sexy and captivating. They have been crushing on each other since she turned 15 and they've both been fighting their chemistry. So we all know the saying 'Don't Judge a Book by It's Cover' but let's be real when we're looking at books the first thing to catch our eye is the cover; whelp the cover I saw didn't provide an idea that is was even a romance, never mind a romance that was going to have me so invested I forgot to eat lunch. Don’t Let Me Go tells the story of Theo, the boy next door, and Blakely, his best friend's little sister, colliding with an inevitable attraction that was years in the making.

Horrible female lead was immature blamed all her problems on it everybody else and I really hope he would dump her for someone who deserved him more I can't believe all the good reviews on this don't waste your credit. When it comes to Blake with other guys, Theo does not tolerate it and always sees red in front of him. Now that she's actively pursuing her writing dreams, she's set her sights on someday finding the self-discipline to not binge-watch an entire series on Netflix in one sitting. There was even happy tears I can’t believe how he can be so clueless but know exactly what he needs to do to get the girl. I definitely recommend this for everyone, but especially those who enjoy v-card romances, new adult romances, and college hockey romances.

He’s been in love with her since they were small children but with his position in her life, does not think he could ever cross that line, and she also believes this is a line that can never be crossed - especially now she has an internship as the team’s new physical trainer and therapist. I swear there aint nothing better than male desperation and the way it was described in Don't Let Me Go was amazing. Definitely a story to devour as these two try to figure out how to move forward with their relationship when they feel like there’s so many road blocks in the way. As with a number of other books out there, the great alpha-male (hockey great) potentially loses his long-time love interest (his best friend’s little sister) because of a bet… about who on the college hockey team can take her v-card. College romances are often full of drama and intense emotion coupled with miscommunication or the total lack of it, misunderstandings, uncertainty and lacking in self-confidence.
