Description

The second time I used it, it lashed with rain and was quite windy during the night and I was completely dry and cosy - well, at least until the very wet dog sneaked in! To get the quality score, we’re looking at a number of factors, but typically we’re studying the brand of the product, the warranty included and basing it on what customers have to say about the quality. We pitch and peg out each tent following the instructions, taking into account how long it takes us, how straightforward the process is, and any struggles we have along the way.

Pop up tents are all about convenience, so getting them up and down in good time and without frustration is a key part of what makes them good or bad.

ProAction 6 Man 2 Room Tunnel Tent reviews

Was very easy to put up, we have never put up a tent before so the instructions helped a lot, and were very easy to understand. The porch area was very useful for shoes etc, no room for chair etc, but good for shade in the sun. Whilst in the new forest it rained one night and some of the next day and we stayed very dry in the tent, the top cover kept the rain off. We found the top cover was a snug fit but did the job well. As long as you tie it to the middle before pegging you get a perfect even fit (i forgot to tie it first time much to my partners annoyance when he couldnt get it even LOL) Many thanks for all your replies, think it will stay where it is, and keep an eye out for something for the daughter and her partner and kids. It is so easy to put up, completely idiot proof. You simply can't get it wrong. The front porch bit was big enough to put the coolbox on one side and the general big camping box on the other so I had the full space inside for my sleeping bag and clothes etc. I'm only 5ft4, and it wasn't tall enough to stand up in, but I didn't really find that to be an issue. It didn't feel cramped in any way.

Small or poor-quality air vents will lead to a hot, stuffy tent and lots of condensation build-up on the ceiling. Firstly, please note that the photograph as shown in the Argos catalogue (and above) is NOT the 9-berth. The photo shows more than one entrance (which is the 12-berth version); the 9-berth has just the one entrance (as detailed in the specs below). I write this because it definitely gives a false impression of what it is you're getting when you go for the smaller 9-berth version. Hi Elaine, I would never compare a Pro-Action tent to a Coleman Weathermaster, that would be like putting a wendy house up against the Taj Mahal hahahaha.

I have this tent and for the price I think its actually very good! I got it in an offer some years ago to go camping in Cornwall. It took hardly any time to put up as only 4 poles involved. You can fit a double bed in the bedrooms and the living bit gives you space to breath so your not under each others feet! we had lovely weather the 1st time I used it.
