Medical advice should be sought before use in patients with occlusive vascular disease, glutathione depletion due to metabolic deficiencies, chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis or emphysema. Additional symptoms may include irritability, restlessness, hypertension and possibly reflux brachycardia. Each pack contains 16 non-drowsy capsules which are easy to take and provide max strength against symptoms. Human studies with paracetamol have not identified any risk to lactation or the breast-fed offspring. Medical advice should be sought before taking this product in patients with: glutathione depletion due to metabolic deficiencies or occlusive vascular disease. Many people can manage the symptoms of colds and flu with simple painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen. This product should not be used by patients taking other sympathomimetics (such as decongestants, appetite suppressants and amphetamine-like psychostimulants) (see section 4. Paracetamol acts as a painkiller, blocking pain signals to the brain, while phenylephrine is a decongestant, and guaifenesin works as an expectorant, relieving chesty coughs. However the amount required to produce serious phenylephrine toxicity would be greater than required to cause paracetamol-related liver toxicity.

Medical advice should be sought if symptoms worsen, persist for more than 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, skin rash or persistent headache.
