I saw that this was recommended by some GR friends, it was on Kindle Unlimited and on the surface I was into the tropes - older, single, stern dad hires younger nanny (I love me some big age gap romances), a bit of isolation, some funny setups.

The H and h enter into a no-strings relationship/friends with benefits/ etc because they are sooooo attracted to each other and the sex scenes begin. He didn't keep a mistress, nope he hired multiple high end prostitutes to give him what he wasn't getting at home. L. Swan is so good at writing great romance, her stories are about relationships, and you really get invested in the characters and the romance between them. A cheater asshole hero who cheats on his wife, on the OW with the heroine, a hero who’s an asshole to the heroine and treats her like his dirty little secret and his whore?He prefers to have friends with benefits but he is not loyal to them because at the same time, he goes to high-class prostitutes.

The back and forth was frustrating, yet somehow I tolerated it, because they were two complicated and messy characters, just like real life is. But later, she changed and became this sweet and caring girl and I tried to explain her weirdness at the beginning with jet-lag and her shock at meeting Julian, the handsome judge, while expecting an old lady.The relationship development was superb, it was SUPER HOT and EROTIC, it was emotional, it was sweet and tender and yet volatile and painful at times. She starts to dance freely, not trying to be cool at all, and her hips move to the rhythm as she turns to look in the fridge. She’s the typical cipher heroine you’ll see in alphahole romances, where her personality tends to be inconsistent and fluctuate to suit the particular scene.

you definitely need to read on because this story is so heartbreakingly good that it brings a tear to your eye. This author really intrigues me with her writing and while this story isn't necessarily a safe read for some readers and probably a few of my goodreads friends. Unlike all the other heroines that fall to the sway of a rich, older man, Bree is seriously unimpressed with the hero’s wealth or his wealthy status and all the baggage it brings. Brielle is arriving in London for a 12 month work visa working as a nanny, and she is shocked when she finds out that Julian is actually a male and not the female she thought he was.

Julian funny with his friends, sweet as Jules and a controlling weirdo as Mr Masters but panty melting at the same time. Side note- as a romance reader I've met many heroes who thought themselves broken and incapable of love . When they break up, he goes to his old “therapist” which is actually just a place where he used to have sex. He was so hot/cold and it was insane how he could just flip the switch and go from charming Julian to domineering Mr. So, if you’ve read Swan’s “Find Me Alastar” you will have already met the lovely Australian Nanny Brielle and the uptight Judge Masters.
