About this deal

Cellulose Spray paints: For most applications a Cellulose formulation is recommended. It offers fast drying and a flawless, durable finish. Obviously these few images above do not come close in recording the amount of effort that this project required over the last year. All our paints are perfect for model painting, cladding repairs, metals, aluminium, plastics, PVC windows and doors. Optional Additives

When applying we must follow an application pattern, first horizontally and then vertically, applying the paint uniformly. Spraying with an even stroke from right to left and release the spray head at the end of each stroke. Ideal for adding to your paint to remove the smelly part of recoating in areas where the smell isn't acceptable. Our elimination additive will make your colour smell pleasant and pleasing; ideal for home projects, around the elderly and in almost any situation requiring more pleasant odours. But please beware that all breathing equipment and health and safety should be taken into account. And now - due to the COVID emergency - I just have started building the Braille scale AFV again. And I'm also the "brush man" (no rattlecans & aerograph), the only acrylics I use (for aircaft and warship modelling so far) are Vallejo varnishes and mixing paints doesn't frighten me. But as I totally don't accept the consistence of Revell and Tamiya enamels I rely on Humbrols only. Frankly speaking I still do have several (less than ten as for today) AIRFIX enamels from the 1980s that are still usable (!!!) and they do mix with Humbrols much better than Revells do.Once opened this paint was reduced by about 15% with Naphtha, and sprayed on a number of Q panels. True to its original chemistry, it dried very slowly and produced a lustreless flat finish. All our products are formulated for ease of use when restoring your vhicle and they will give you an excellent weather-proof finish that will last for years.

If you are unsure we will also advise you on the best way to apply our military vehicle paints for the best results.

Our vintage-inspired colors

Using a half-inch drive drill, three different sized paint mixers and a pry bar, and eight hours in the drill press, the paint was completely mixed. As the manual states, it can be reduced at a 50:50 mixture with a number of solvents. I then transferred most of this paint into new one gallon and quart containers. Primer: We can also provide RAL Aerosol colours in a self etching primer ideal for aluminium, zinc, steel & re-coatable plastics paints: If you require an even more durable finish then select the 2K option, 2k Paints are chemically hardened, they are activated by releasing a valve at the base of the aerosol, once the can is activated you have a twelve hour period for use. In spite of color standardization, there is considerable variation in hue between lots and between the products of different manufacturers.”

By adding our UV protection to your paint, you can add years to the life of your paint. Our UV protector cuts out the harmful elements of the suns rays, thus extending your paint's life from bleaching. Safety Data Sheets Compared to Q panels that were recently painted with a currently available Blue Drab paint it was obvious that there was some distance between colors, not just hues. Without any doubt, this shade was the hardest to replicate to date. We rejected six samples from the manufacturer. The finish was too glossy, too blue, too gray, etc. This shade is actually much greener and grayer than what is currently available. We know that "The best form of advertising is the personal recommendation of a satisfied customer". We know we are not the cheapest on the market, however the superb quality of our products is second to none. WWII Yellow Drab #316 is now available in spray cans. This shade of yellow was reengineered from an original can of paint from WWII and an original copy of the US Army Spec. 3-1 paint chip manual dated April 1943.

Optional Additives

I opened about forty .30 and .50 ammo cans and spread them out. I then separated them by manufacturer. As a side note, most of the .50 ammo cans I used for this study were the side opening ones made between 1940 and about December of 1942. There are three different types of side opening .50 ammo cans used after the side opening M17 .50 ammo can was replaced. The images that follow show a freshly painted M18 Hellcat using TM9 Lustreless Olive Drab Shade #8 and a newly installed NOS taillight. Using the correct shade of Olive Drab can save you time and money when installing NOS parts. We will then be able to supply all of your paint from the same batch to ensure that there is no colour variation.
