The hair is very porous and the hair cuticle is very open, which means that it absorbs everything that comes to hand. Any shade applied to the hair will be darker than you would like. Therefore, for best results, we recommend waiting at least 48 hours before re-dyeing. However, if you don't want to wait, choose two shades lighter color than you would like. For example, instead of shade 7.1 (gray blonde), choose shade 9.1 (light blonde gray), etc. 12) Careful With Color Protection Hair Care! Although the instructions on any hair colour stripper box state that you can colour your hair the same day, it is recommended waiting a few days before doing so. If you’ve had past colour applications that left your hair dry and porous, utilising a colour remover will accentuate this condition. If you wish to apply permanent hair dye right after the colour removal, choose a colour that is at least 2 levels lighter than you want, because colouring excessively porous hair will result in darker and more dramatic results than you want. A few tips to know before stripping your hair colour You have attempted to remove lightning in the hair. Decolour Remover can only reverse artificial permanent colour pigments; it cannot reverse lightening. Quite often people attempt to remove an unwanted red or copper tone in the hair, believing it to be from an artificial colourant applied, when in reality it is their natural red and gold pigment exposed from lightening via the peroxide developer in the colourant used.

In the case of semi-permanent hair colours, removers work like magic and are able to strip away the colour. This is because semi-permanent hair colours do not chemically mix with your natural hair colour and removers are thus able to strip away the dye. Can hair lightening be removed with the colour remover?

Step 1– Use a clarifying shampoo twice on your hair. Rinse and towel dry your hair before applying because your hair should be clean and wet. Keep in mind that colour strippers only remove the artificial dyes from your hair, without affecting the hair structure. Applying them to your hair is far less damaging than using bleach or ammonia-based products but keep in mind that excessively shampooing your hair and a lot of warm water rinsing, on the other hand, might deplete your hair’s natural oils, leaving your strands feeling dry. You must use a conditioner after and a deep hair conditioner is also recommended to help restore moisture and softness to your hair.
