Description

Beth is the wedding planner for the forthcoming big day, married with a new born son - everything seems to be going well with both her business and family life. A night of debauchery led to a drunken 'I do' in a chapel in Las Vegas and Eleanor tight the knot with Crew... The story ends with a kind of epiphany where Mara refuses to be "less than" and refuses to be a victim. It's very dramatic but also feels somewhat hollow since we've spent the whole book with her being both of those things and raging against her new reality. JOSH NEXT DOOR had forgotten to turn off his porch light again and through my bedroom window a slice of light curved over Aiyana’s forehead, cheek, and chin. A face familiar from sweaty afternoons playing softball, drinking beer afterward, and sometimes coffee at the Flying Biscuit. But strange here. Nothing like the face I was used to seeing on that pillow. As for the smut, Trilina remains unbeatable. She writes one of the best spice I've ever read. It's so deliciously detailed and, the best thing about it, not cringe at all. Seriously, some scenes will live rent-free in my head for a long time.

The counters were too far off the ground for someone in a wheelchair. And the cabinets meant I wouldn’t be able to get my legs under them. The male characters are very one dimensional. At one point, Ruby befriends a man in the park who comes most days to clean the bird poo from the bench he has dedicated to his dead daughter. It didn't take me long to work out who he is and how he is linked to the storyline! When it does come to light, I just found it a bit too convenient and unoriginal. It is at times hard to like Mara, her abrasiveness, bitterness can be off putting, but it is realistic and honest. I can relate since I too have MS as does the author. These are authentic feelings, and it takes a while to adjust to having a life altering disease that has very little in the way of effective treatment.

I finally read this one and y'all, the hype is real. This book is HILARIOUS, SUPER spicy, and just an all around fun read. And OMG, the audiobook is full cast and it was AMAZING, so many favorite narrators! If you need a good smutty palate cleanser, look no further. Dawn O'Porter is spot on with the way society is judgemental and toxic. How many of us believe we need to live up to certain standards surrounding us. I loved how true to life the characters were, I think every woman can relate to them. a b El-Mohtar, Amal (2018-06-22). "Heart-Hammering Science Fiction and Fantasy Thrillers". The New York Times. It's the addition of her young assistant that talks so openly about the subject and offers various alternatives that helps make those sections very memorable. The cast is completed by Tegan Bannister, Ralph Bogard, Elliot Broadfoot, Emma Crossley, Kade Ferraiolo, Sydney Isitt-Ager, Joe Kelly, Aidan Nightingale, James Willoughby Moore, Lauren Woolf and Louie Wood. Our breath was fast, harsh, mutual. My cheek where it had touched her felt more alive than the rest of me and all I could think was how it would feel to lay my whole length against hers. So I did.Standouts for me were an astonishing belt out of Never Too Late from Giovanni Spano as Nathan's best man Ash, and the pals' completely hilarious reimagining of Dead or Alive's You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) at a Turkish nightclub. The nightclub is also the scene for a magical segue of Mel and Kim's classics Showing Out and Respectable." This book reads so much like a memoir I had to keep reminding myself it isn't. The murder plots and shadow creatures are not real. I really liked how the novel jumps around the three characters at perfect lengths - you get a good understanding of the real person inside with the time you spend with them.

Knot so Lucky Summary

After fourteen years of course it wasn’t all right, but, “Yes,” I said, because she would leave anyway. Unfortunately it is also a suspense/horror story but reading the current news gives me a sufficient daily dose of both. From both the hilariously funny and exually rude to the more emotive look at how outward appearances and social media posts can give a distorted view.
