About this deal

Shred must be charged to at least 65 %, otherwise The Demogorgon will perform a normal Lunge instead. In Seasons 1 and 2 of Netflix's Stranger Things, the residents of Hawkins, Indiana are terrorized by a strange creature known as "The Demogorgon". The kids at the forefront of the show may have repurposed the name, inspired by the monster from their D&D campaign. As D&D players are well aware, the Stranger Things version of Demogorgon varies not insignificantly from the in-game version, but still... we're just glad to see this two-headed demon lord name-dropped so openly! Playing as The Demogorgon, achieve a Merciless Victory using only its 3 Unique Perks: Surge , Cruel Limits , and Mindbreaker . Demogorgons seen in later years seemed unable to open temporary gates - even the Soviet-captured Demogorgon, which otherwise seemed to be stronger, faster and more capable than the 1983 specimen, did not wield this power.

In time, the tanar'ri rose up and overthrew their obyrith rulers, with the demon lords Graz'zt and Orcus warring with each other to claim the ultimate title of Prince of Demons. The forgotten Demogorgon suddenly rose from forgotten depths and slew countless tanari'ri lords. The remaining tanar'ri—even Graz'zt and Orcus, their forces depleted by fighting each other—were forced to accept Demogorgon as the new Prince of Demons. [1] Ancient history [ ] In the Early Middle Ages, Demogorgon is mentioned in the tenth-century Adnotationes super Lucanum, a series of short notes to Lucan's Pharsalia that are included in the Commenta Bernensia, the "Berne Scholia on Lucan". A hundred miles offshore lies Abysm, the two serpentine towers of Demogorgon which descend into the sea below. An exceptionally powerful balor named Belcheresk is the supreme commander of Demogorgon's massive armies of demons, constructs and other monsters, which total in the millions. His armies primarily consist of hezrous, aboleths, scrags, skum, and fish-like creatures. [2]

Sweeney (ed., Lactantii Placidi in Statii Thebaida commentarii libri XII (Stuttgart/Leipzig: Teubner) 1997) also indicates that another Placidus, a Christian grammarian, is not to be confused with this Lactantius: "'glossae Placidi (ut uidetur, Christiani) nullo modo auctori nostro sunt adscribendae '" (p. viii).

However, his control of the Blood Shallows did not go uncontested, and Demogorgon has stationed legions of demons there ever since. [9]

A BRIEF HISTORY

The Monster had the ability to travel between dimensions on a whim, creating temporary portals in the fabric of reality. The Monster arrived at Mirkwood, a road near a local forest, where it stalked Will Byers on his way home. The Monster chased Will as he entered his house, forcing Will to run to his garden shed. Will hid in the shed, loading a rifle in self-defense, but the Monster simply appeared behind him, taking him into the Upside Down. Demogorgon's romantic interests included the succubus Shami-Amourae and the Succubus Queen Malcanthet, both of whom had manipulated him for their own benefits. Shami-Amourae, however, was imprisoned in the Wells of Darkness for her manipulations. [37] [24] He was the brother of another demon lord called Mandrillagon. [38] It’s believed that the term "Demogorgon" actually derives from a typo of the Greek word "Demiurge," meaning "creator of the world." Demogorgon first appeared in the original edition of Dungeons and Dragons, in Eldritch Wizardry (1976), and has appeared in every subsequent edition of the game. [17] [18] [19] [20] [21] [22] He has also appeared in other Dungeons & Dragons products, such as in the novel Archmage by R.A. Salvatore and in the video game Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal. DMs who want to use Demogorgon himself should be prepared for their story to take an epic approach. Even weaker D&D Demon Lords are suitable villains for top-level parties. The Out of the Abyss premade D&D 5e campaign ends in a brawl between Demogorgon and several other Demon Lords, with the PCs desperately trying to survive. This is one of D&D 5e's highest-level campaigns and the players are reduced to a bit part amongst Abyssal carnage. His left head, named Aameul, is intelligent, charismatic, and capable of formulating careful plans. The right head, Hethradiah, is violent, impulsive and feral. Although terrifying and utterly deadly in combat, he prefers to leave battles to one of this numerous powerful minions. [2]Buff: increased the duration of the Undetectable Status Effect after traversing the Upside Down from 2 seconds to 3 seconds. Demogorgon appears in D&D 3.5's Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss (2006), p.61-63, this time as a CR 23 creature. It is clarified that Aameul is the left head, and Hethradiah the right. In Stranger Things: The Game, Demogorgon larvae appear as regular enemies throughout the Upside Down, as well as the fourth chapter's sewer stage and the sixth chapter's Hawkins Lab stage; when killed, the larvae split into two smaller enemies. The Demogorgon was the first non-human Killer featured in Dead by Daylight , being a creature from a parallel dimension, that entered Hawkins National Laboratory. Another legend claimed that Demogorgon was originally a primordial and the first of his kind to set foot in the Abyss shortly after the formation of the plane, followed closely by Dagon, who challenged him for control of the plane. As he and Demogorgon fought, Obox-ob seized the opportunity to become the first Prince of Demons. A temporary alliance between Demogorgon, Orcus, and Baphomet was formed to defeat Obox-ob. [11]
