I didn’t see the claimed 3000 lumens, but because of the strike (ish) bezel, some lumens were undoubtedly lost. Still, performance is good, especially when we’re considering the lower modes (such as “Mid”) where output is steady for three hours or so at around 650 lumens.

The Nitecore P23i is a high performance rechargeable torch with a maximum output of 3000 lumens from a Luminus SFT-70 LED for improved performance and distance, with a maximum beam range of 470 metres. The P23i is compatible with a wide range of tactical accessories such as signal lights, tactical holsters, helmet mounts, traffic wands, diffusers, and gun mounts from Nitecore. The signal lights can be attached to the flashlight to provide additional visual signaling in emergencies.

3000 Lumen Long Throw Flashlight

Being a tactical flashlight, the P23i is designed for ease of operation. It can be stored in the holster either bezel up or bezel down, so you can carry it the way that best suits your usage. Speaking of the holster, it’s made from tough webbing and closes with a generous amount of hook and loop, so the light won’t be falling out. You can attach it either through a plastic D-ring, or a fixed or hook and loop closing belt loops, though it’s about an inch and a half across, so it won’t fit in standard MOLLE webbing.
