For our cake, we frosted it with blue buttercream and then we created a rainbow using m&ms. We made little clouds with jumbo and not-so-jumbo marshmallows. And, what’s a rainbow without a pot of gold, so we added some chocolate coins at the bottom. Number 3 Cake T hen, use a glass to cut the middle out of the circle cake and cut out the upper right quarter. Discard both. Lower the left slice and connect it to the circle, then rotate the middle piece horizontally and connect to the left slice. Cut the cake into three slices. Leave the right slice whole, then cut the middle slice in half. Cut the half in half. With the left slice, cut one quarter diagonally from the top and another quarter from the bottom. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Add the cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Whisk on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to over whip the heavy cream.
