My plan for the rest of this year is to take more time for myself, doing things that I want to do, the one big thing for me is learning to drive, I am determined to do that, I have been testing my memory with a Theory Test Book. Good things to be doing for him will be to make notes of anything he needs to remember, keep a diary, keep on repeating things until they become long term memories. I know I haven't been around for a while, I have explained the reasons behind that in the GR a little while ago, that's not to say I haven't thought of you all, I have and do so most days. I was very anxious in the first few weeks about being left alone and that I was going to suffer another SAH. I became so depressed that I was referred to a councillor. He helped me to realise that this wasn't my fault and that I had nothing to feel guilty about. I've had to up my dose of nerve meds (the doctor prescribed me some Pregabalin) so I am just adjusting to a slightly higher dose of that, it really has numbed my unmanageable nerve pain I was experiencing. The pain is still clearly there but it's like the meds have wrapped cotton wool round my nerves. Still napping a lot and unable to even go for a short walk along the road without total exhaustion, am getting very bored! Am trying to really hydrate more than I normally do too as everyone is suggesting on this forum.
