Perler Beads– This set is a great perler bead starter set or this starter set with most of the colors you’ll need. I also recommend getting some neutral colors like this set that are great for creating people and faces as well as a set of grays. Place the three interconnecting transparent pegboards on top of the design guide, place the beads onto the pegboards and follow the design guide to create two large designs of your little ones’ favourite characters: Cinderella and Ariel, The Little Mermaid. If your pegboard set doesn’t come with ironing paper you’ll need some. We use the same few pieces over and over again. In case you aren’t familiar with Perler beads, they are small beads that come in just about every color imaginable. Kids can set up the beads on a plastic pegboards which keep the beads in place. Once the design is completely, you iron over the beads and they melt enough to fuse together. It’s cool!
