And in two minutes your teeth and gums are refreshed and clean. In addition, the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush has a memory, starting off from your last brushing mode. Overall, im really impressed with this EVO IRM-1 rechargeable toothbrush. I hope they make different ones for other Marvel characters or branching out to other groups like Star Wars.
Arc Reactor Charging Base: Sleek design to mimic Tony Stark's artificial heart. Showcasing built-in breathing lights, the charging base gives the sensation that the toothbrush is alive when charging. The controls are two button. One is on/off. The other is the mode select. The mode is remembered when you power the brush off.I grew up reading Iron Man comic books as a youngster, “that was almost 50 years ago” and we are fans of the Iron Man movies. This new EVO Iron IRM-1 toothbrush is something that if you are a diehard Iron Man fan you’ll be extremely pleased with.
OK, enough geeking out. If all that did not sell you, then you probably want to wait for another EVO product for your teeth. The brush heads all feel nice and gentle with rounded tips. I like using deep cleaning settings along with the corresponding toothpaste it seems to get cleaner by the end of the week. The pulsing feeling really felt like it was scrubbing deeply inside hitting the gums. Whitening settings also seem to have done the job of making my teeth whiter. Sensitive go slow and move slowly so it doesn't irritate sensitive teeth. Evo gives 2 brush heads inside. The handle molds right into the hand feeling great. It also comes with a cool Arc Reactor Charging Base for the toothbrush. I have only had this a few days, but I am loving it. If you are just looking for a great electric tooth brush, ignore all the Ironman talk and geeking out I have done and focus on the fact this is one of the best toothbrushes on the market.Charging is through the arc reactor base that is powered by a USB type C connection. It is really nice to have USB type C for the connector, one less cable to take on a road trip! Or a space charging cord if you left yours in the rental car. Done that a few times. Placing the toothbrush into the included charging stand, crafted to mimic an arc reactor, produces a pleasant pulsing glow, in addition to a red light appearing on the brush itself while charging. The charger itself uses usb-c, which I typically associate with a higher quality product. Many electronics still skimp and use micro-USB for the types of connections you “set and forget” like a toothbrush charger, but I was pleasantly impressed to see the usb-c port. The unit contains a rechargeable battery that charges wirelessly through induction when placed standing up in the arc reactor charging base. This proprietary base also needs to be plugged into an outlet via the USB-C cable and wall adapter and pulses slowly with a glowing white light during charging. A full charge will last several weeks if you brush 2 times daily, though a small red battery indicator near the bottom of the handle will turn on when the unit has low battery and flashes when the battery is critically low. The manufacturer also recommends fully discharging the battery at least once every 6 months to maintain maximum capacity over the long-term. If you’re considering this Iron Man toothbrush, you’re definitely the type of persons who won’t be disappointed. I’ve never saved a toothbrush box before, but this truly feels like a collector piece before opening, while opening, while using, and while charging the toothbrush! The box doesn’t just include the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush you also get: 2 Plaque Brush Heads, the Powerbase (the Ironman ARC reactor) and wall adapter. The EVO IRM Sonic Toothbrush (IPX 7 Waterproof rating!) is also comfortable to hold and handle while brushing/massaging your gums and teeth. It’s a real added value with the items included in this EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush box.
As for the brush itself. This is one of the best electric toothbrushes I have ever seen. There are 4 modes - Standard. Whitening, Sensitive and Deep Clean.The only issue for me was trying to tell what mode I was in. You cannot see the outlined yellow accented modes while brushing your teeth because they are facing you on the toothbrush which you are holding. You literally have to remove the toothbrush, while it is running (and making a mess) to see the modes. Now, with that being said, each mode has its own “sound tone” that it makes when you select the desired mode (really!). I am sure that if you are using the EVO IRM Sonic toothbrush twice daily, you will learn the assigned tone to each mode. But it takes a little bit of getting used to with a very, very short, learning curve. The first thing I did was plug in the Arc Reactor into the supplied USB and hooked it to the charge adapter and plugged it in. The charging base lights up white like the Arc Reactor and slowly blinks as it’s charging “there’s also a red indicator on the brush itself indicating charging”. I love the combination of Marvel’s Ironman details and the outstanding cleaning power of this EVO IRM Sonic Toothbrush. My teeth and gums are in their best shape that I can remember. The creative thinking that goes into merging Marvel mania and uniquely powerful Sonic toothbrush is a just amazing. Brushing your teeth now is an experience with the introduction of the EVO IRM Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush!
There’s a logoed power button and a selection switch where you can select “Standard, Sensitive, Whitening, and Deep Clean”. The brush heads come off just like all the other electric tooth brushes we’ve used over the years, “just give it a yank to remove”. The second button, shaped like the red jowls of Iron Man’s mask, is the mode key that when pressed cycles through the 4 modes: standard, sensitive, whitening, and deep clean. Each of these modes illuminates a different red LED on the handle to help you identify which mode you’re currently using. The brush head for the IRM-1 is petite, slightly smaller than the manual toothbrush that I typically use. It has soft yellow outer bristles and a blue and white center bristles in the shape of the Arc Reactor, all infused with silver ion technology for antibacterial protection. Over time the blue color in the center bristles will fade to indicate when the brush head needs to be replaced, and it easily disconnects from the main body with a firm pull. OK, just opening the box, which is absolutely beautiful to any collector, is just a sheer joyous experience. Being welcomed to Stark industries by the recorded voice. My gawd I popped. If you or someone you love is a huge Iron Man or Marvel fan, and also cares about dental hygiene, this is absolutely THE perfect gift. Four Brushing Modes: Four unique brushing modes cater to different oral care needs: Standard (superior teeth cleaning), Sensitive (recommended for gum recession, braces, or sensitive gum or teeth), Whitening (removes surface stains), and Deep Clean (pulsates for gentle gum stimulation). Each of the modes have hidden lights on the handle that are activated when the mode is selected. With up to 40,000 vibrations per minute, this brush offers the ultimate cleaning.A lot of thought went into a lot of small details from box design to using the brush that still leave me smiling after a few days of using this toothbrush. The box also includes a replacement brush head as well as information on a subscription plan I may look into in the future. Removing the IRM toothbrush is simple. There are no twist ties to undo or zip ties to cut. Remove the plastic shield and the toothbrush is ready to come out. What’s better is that there are little layers to the product emersion. From Tony Stark’s signature to a large place card with his name and the ‘I am Iron Man’ quote, I felt like a kid again the deeper I got into the box. Deep Cleaning – This mode is best used to do a thorough job at removing more of the contaminants on and in-between the teeth and gums. This is really where the 40,000 vibrations a minute comes into play. I was a little sore at first, but after several uses, I didn’t not experience any discomfort.
