After adjusting temperatures and trying again this bunny (file included on the MicroSD card) was the one good print on that side of the bed. There are many other options in the firmware for setting up upgrades, tuning, and other features. Read through the files configuration section to see all the features we’ve put in the firmware for you. If you aren’t versed in 3D CAD and building your own files, you’ll want to head on over to Thingiverse or one of the many other places to browse and acquire files for something you want to print.

Creality released their new 3D printer Ender-7 in June 2021, it was advertised that this brand new product breaks through their other 3D printer of 50mm/s-100mm/s, can reach up to the speed of 250mm/s, which exceeds the normal printing speed in the market. There is no doubt that with such a fast speed printing, it can be a good way to save your printing time and make your work presentable faster. But does it work as accurately and consistently in the high speed mode as it claims to? Let's take a look. Design & Features Design Maintaining the minimalist aesthetic seen in previous Ender machines, the Ender-7 features the familiar dual support frame that continues to provide print platform stability. but i hope you realize what changing the firmware does, for instance you no longer can use the lcd on the printer, so please really consider doing these steps to reduce your risks The Ender-7 has a heated, silicon-carbide print bed, which is mounted cantilevered on the single lead-screw Z-axis. Four spring-loaded screws attach the bed to the z-axis, and allow for manual bed leveling. Currently, there are generally three sets of printing speed that 3D printers can support. The first set is has been grouped at around 40 to 50mm/s, while the second set prints at about 80-100mm/s. Meanwhile, the fastest set prints at around 150mm/s. Some printers may even print at a speed faster than 150 mm/s.” The review from All3DP.

Each side of a triangle corresponds to only one corresponding angle and is unique. Therefore, the triangle is the most solid shape. Therefore, it is also the most mechanically stable. A bespoke 42-60 high-performance stepper motor suitable for rugged performance ensures high-speed operation. k06032022firmware.bin => prebuild klipper firmware for creality ender7 with the !!!!SAFETY CRITICAL!!!! intial pin configuration (set in .config above) to avoid the printer heated bed powering on at startup when no raspberry is connected) When slowed down just a little, to a still impressive 150 millimeters per second, most of those surface artifacts go away. This dragon was scaled to the tallest that this printer can handle, and printed in 15 hours. It was also my only failed print, which I’ll discuss more about later on. Ignoring the failure seam near the top of the print, the quality of the print is outstanding for a speed twice as fast as I run my other printers.

A fully optimised slicing path dynamically adapts the motion acceleration and deceleration algorithm to effectively ensure the quality and efficiency of the printing process. Aesthetically, I think the Ender-7 is a good looking printer. It looks great sitting on a table top, and since the bed only moves up and down, theres no risk of the bed hitting the wall or a passer by like some of the other Ender models. Sound wise, the motors are quieter than the fans when printing at normal speeds. When printing at higher speeds though, that’s when you’ll start to hear the motors. It is still comfortable enough to stay in the same room with it while it is printing. Partially Assembled In the configuration.h file there are printer models you can uncomment to tell the firmware what machine you are setting it up for. Uncomment means removing the // in front of a setting and you will be left with #define XXXXXX if an option is enabled. If the build succeeds it is ready for you to upload to your printer. You will know if it was successfully built because it will show a SUCCESS in green at the bottom of the window in Visual Studio Code. Example of what a successful compile looks like. Your environment name may be different from what is shown above. The nozzle has a larger melting zone to help with such high speed printing. Melting is only half the battle though, once the plastic is printed, it also needs to be rapidly cooled down before the next layer is printed. This cooling is provided by dual cooling fans on either side of the hotend. The extruder also needs to be able to push enough filament, which the all metal, dual-geared extruder is easily able to keep up. It even has its own cooling fan to help prevent the extruder from overheating during long prints. The extruder also has a filament runout sensor, which will pause a print if you run out of filament. After you replace the filament, it’ll resume where it left off. Utilizing Core-XY structure, dual motors running parallelly with coordinated operations, faster speed, and higher precision.

The instructions are pretty clear, and all the tools and bolts are provided. So as long as you can turn an allen wrench, you shouldn’t have any issues assembling the machine. Concerns Improving the stability of the feed is good for the stability of the print quality and reducing the friction between the Teflon tube and the material First time using our firmware or having issues? Watch our video that is intended to clear up common mistakes people make when opening and using the firmware here: Unified 2 VSCode Tips for Noobs | EZTip #8 – YouTubeAs we all know, the most important for people to buy the Ender-6 is fast printing speed, just Imagine if there were a printer that could print faster than Ender-6. Overall, this is a good product with budget price for the 3D printer beginner. You will be happy with its performance, especially since it greatly reduces your wait time for print results. config => The klipper config file in the klipper directory (this has the presets required for ender7 from make menuconfig)

The faster speed promised by Creality is elusive. The Ender 7 will print slower on the initial layers along with some infill or technical areas. Take a look at this video showing just that. On the side of the printer is a micro-SD card slot, as well as a USB type-C port for connecting the printer to a computer. The Creality Ender 7 convinces with precise, stable and powerful performance and offers a new experience in high-speed 3D printing with its incredibly fast printing speed of up to 250 mm / s.

Thanks to its unique butterfly-shaped wing ducted cooling fan, the new Ender also draws in 169% more air than previous models, providing the cooling needed to ensure print quality, while its customized nozzle can hold up to 50mm³ inside its melt for smooth feeding, even at high printing speeds. And here’s the finished “ Little Happy Dumpster” (thanks @ddunmire !!) next to a better shot of the bunny.
