Once you have used this amazing product you will wonder how you ever managed to grow your plants without it! Obviously, it was disappointing to have a defective PCB. We spent hours trying to figure out what I might have done wrong. But the company’s response and product’s performance once I exchanged the PCB made up for some of that. [Editor’s Note: There have been reports from other customers that they’ve had similar problems with the pump and have had it replaced by the manufacturer. This may be a quality control issue.] The SOL-C12L is perfect for small to medium gardens, greenhouses and allotments, providing watering for up to 12 20-litre pots. It is ideal for potted plants, hanging baskets, individual plants and short runs in raised beds. The irrigation kit ensures your plants receive precise irrigation at the roots, minimising water wastage.

Night mode - the system now detects when it is dark and swithces the controller off to prevent watering at night.Seephose: Ideal for short runs in a mixed dripper / seephose environment, germinating seedlings, watering plant troughs and small beds. Unlike conventional timer systems, by watering little and often, the soil stays moist and water does not run off, saving you water. A 200 litre water barrel typically lasts 1 week to 10 days. TheIrrigatia Solar Automatic Irrigation Kit requires no mains water supply or electricity and it won't waste your valuable water butt-collected and stored water by irrigating garden plants when the weather is cloudy or overcast; instead, this ingenious solar powered pump system will automatically spring into life when the sun beats down and your plants need moisture the most. Simply insert the feeder tube into the water butt, arrange the drip tube as required and switch on the Irrigatia unit. The unit will water automatically every 3 hours but the amount of water released depends upon the amount of sunlight - the more sun, the more it waters!

Installing the drip system was easy in terms of work and simplicity. I simply cut the small tubing and added an included “T” to attach a short amount of tube to the dripper and continue the flow through the hose. The stakes are really helpful, holding the drippers slightly above the ground and helping to place them in the best spot. The hose is tiny enough to run up and over a raised bed and then down into the area needing water.Includes 1 x SMART Controller C24L with integrated pump, inlet filter, anti-siphon, 15m tube, 12 drippers, stakes, tees, 3 x AA rechargeable batteries . Waterwand should not be positioned more than 20m from water butt and no more than 2m higher than the water butt.

We call them ‘Irrigation Units’, or ‘IU’ for short.Almost all new plants will benefit from rootgrow™ but there are a few exceptions: blueberries, cranberries, lingonberries, rhododendrons, azaleas, heathers & brassicas. It should be noted that using rootgrow™ on these plants will not harm them - it just won’t work. The solar control also does some of the thinking for you. By nature of how the batteries charge, the pump doesn’t run when it’s cloudy. They are easy to install and set up, and once in, they will water automatically with minimal supervision – ideal for small to medium gardens or allotments – and can be used for pots, raised beds, hanging baskets, vegetables and greenhouses. The engine room of the system is the pump unit which is simply mounted above a water butt (you'll need to supply your own water butt!) and pumps water every three hours - the quantity delivered depends on the sunshine hours and the chosen setting.
