About this deal

Absolutely no problems here – if you’d rather sleep with a clean head of hair each night, this product will allow you to do so. It’s always easier to apply creamy hair products to clean hair than it is with oily or greasy hair. Clear Tar Gel, Leveling Gel and Glazing Liquid affect paint’s viscosity, flow and drying time, but all are levelling, smooth and transparent.

Not all of these features are of equal importance. Plus, there’s a good chance that one of them may be more important to you than the others. Label.m is a fairly well known brand due their use in their Toni and Guy salons. I think their matte paste is a well rounded product made by experts composed of quality ingredients to deliver reliably decent results on a profitable mass scale. I think their Matte Paste reflects this with reliable above average durability and performance, a lightweight medium hold and slightly greasy low shine finish. It is the type of product that could be used by lots of people with shorter hair styles (2-4 inches) as an uncomplicated solo go to daily driver. PRICE AND AFFORDABILITY 7.2/10 It mixed easily with fluid acrylic, I chose a transparent Quinacridone Magenta, that created a gorgeous glaze, or rather lens, over an earlier painted mark. But, there is one more consideration, and that is experimentation! Neither will act the same on wet hair, damp hair, nor with a hairdryer in use to help with styling. A word to the wise, use this tool on hair with product already in it, rather than attempting to tame fluffy hair. The word ‘fluffy’ is not one I typically like to ascribe to my appearance!Ten types of wet Golden Acrylic Mediums partially mixed with Golden Acrylic Paint Which Acrylic Medium Should I Use? You should be left with no clumps and no residue – just a gentle shine on your palms. 3. Apply And Distribute I was surprised with how lifeproof Label.m Matte Paste actually was, for months with my short hair, it actually became my daily driver. For the messy quiff I like to shoot for, it became easy to use and quite reliable. The finish wasn’t always the best (because it’s sometimes a touch greasy), but it was convenient to only need 1 product to achieve a decent style.

The Label. M Matt Paste 120ml is a versatile styling product that provides long-lasting control, texture, and definition to all hair types. First released in 2005, it has become a popular choice among men and women alike. A light spritz of hairspray will give you the reinforcement you need if you feel as though the hold from label.m matt paste isn’t quite what you need. Their bases, my friend! They are, at their core, entirely different entities. My Matt Clay has an oil base, which has a greater viscosity than a water base, and therefore has a different effect when taming and controlling the shape of your hair. The clay mixes three hardworking and natural ingredients; the titular clay, which is where our matt finish texture is found; beeswax, for a little shine and powerful hold; and oil, which holds the combined product together smoothly. Having said this, I do think the product is versatile enough to lend itself to more defined styles as well thanks to the waxy ingredients.

The 7 GAC mediums are the most fluid of all the mediums and change the hardness, film flexibility and adhesion of acrylic paint. Label.m Matte Paste holds your hair’s style shape quite well, and when you combine that with its lightweight formula it gives off a high holding effect for short to medium length hair. But once your hair gets longer, it doesn’t have enough structure and hold to support the weight. APPLICATION 8/10

Both label.m Matt Paste and label.m Deconstructor produce a very similar texture and low-shine finish. However, you can expect a slightly stronger hold from the Deconstructor. Increases film clarity and dries to a clear high gloss with a moderate hardness. Offers little shrinkage over the course of drying. GAC 800 The matte paste, not only feels like a paste, but it also smells like a paste with a faint chemically smell. It’s not the most appealing, but it’s also not very strong and not really noticeable once applied to the hair. So it shouldn’t really be an issue. DURABILITY 7.8/10 The popularity of Label. M Matt Paste 120ml can be attributed to its ability to provide both hold and texture without making hair feel stiff or crunchy like some other styling products do. It has won several awards over the years, including the Men's Health Grooming Awards in 2019. Molding pastes increase body but are almost completely opaque and some have additives to give them unique textural effects.

Plus, the awareness that the product has gotten as a professional product and fashion industry favorite does lead to a bit of a premium. On the other hand, my Matt Paste is water-based, relying on integrated styling polymers to set your desired style in place. It is a lighter product, so can present a set of advantages depending on your hair type. Because the paste sets your hair, rather than holds it, you’ll find it a more formidable product for a strong, unfailing look. You could achieve some mounds, if not peaks, and build up depth. The shrinkage wasn’t noticeable, due to the inclusion of plastic crystals, that were already solid. This is becasue the polymer acts mainly as a “glue”, rather than as the body of the gel.

If you’re blow-drying, use it as an opportunity to add lift and volume by tousling and finger-combing against the direction growth while doing it. Label.m Matte Paste is pretty much what it sounds like, it is a hair styling product with a pasty texture and feel, that mostly delivers a matte finish. It is quite firm to the touch, and once emulsified applies quite easily to the hair. One of the advantages of using Label. M Matt Paste 120ml is its versatility. It can be used to create a variety of hairstyles with different levels of hold depending on how much product is applied. Whether you have short or long hair, this paste can help you achieve your desired look while keeping your hair in place all day long.Label.m matte paste is a salon product born in the UK, commonly used and found the company’s Toni and Guy salons (their other brand). Unlike many other styling ‘pastes’ out there, Label.m’s matte paste actually looks, feels and responds like a paste.
