One of the reasons why I like Free Soul vegan protein shakes so much (aside from the yummy taste and creamy texture) is that they contain so much more than just protein! When it comes to fitness and nutrition, a large component of that is protein. But how do we get in 100, 150, or 200 grams of protein a day from just normal food? The answer is you can't unless you really enjoy eating cans of tuna for breakfast, which is why many of us have turned towards powdered protein; a super-concentrated form of protein that helps you meet your macros. I suspected that I had a hormone imbalance as I’d been experiencing bad hormonal acne and I’d tried everything to get it under control. I thought I’d try FS greens, not really expecting much from it, but oh my goodness…my skin has transformed! I started taking these PCOS tablets 2 weeks ago. Within 3 days I had a period, my first in over 6 months since coming off the contraceptive pill. My acne is clearing up and I generally feel much more awake and less irritable. I am hoping they will regulate my hormones enough so I can ovulate but don’t think I’ve been taking them for long enough yet. The only downside is that the tablets are quite large but they are worth it. Looking forward to starting my subscriptions and trying the other protein flavours on offer.
