G’Vine: a unique and unconventional gin The perfect fit for a Gin & Tonic, the drink du jour: simply fill a large wine glass with ice and pour in 40ml of G’Vine Gin. Top with premium tonic water and garnish with three white grapes. It’s no different with grapes. Just like different wines made from different grapes from different terroirs taste different, so will a gin a made with grape spirit versus one made with a grain spirit - or a rice, corn or beetroot spirit for that matter. The vine blossoms are sorted through, discarding any blossoms that don’t meet the highest standard. Then the selection is enclosed in a muslin bag and submerged in grape brandy to steep for several days.

June Royal Pear a June Wild PeachOur story begins each June when the vine blossoms appear and seem to be gone in the blink of an eye. Within a fleeting five day period, each grape flower must be delicately harvested by hand, capturing their precious aroma that won’t be fully revealed until the distillation process. The idea to produce a gin made of neutral grape spirit came to Jean-Sébastien Robiquet in 2006. Already surrounded by the grapes, the only thing missing was finding that special aromatic plant that would separate G’Vine Floraison from all of its competitors. And so, with the addition of the fleeting vine blossoms, G’Vine was born! At the end of the day, the potential combinations of base spirit, distillation method, and botanicals in gin production are seemingly endless. And that’s what makes gin so damn fascinating! June is a flavoured gin liqueur with a happy, fresh and wonderful nature. Its ripe, sun-kissed fruit aromas make the good times you share with your friends shine even brighter. June is flavoursome and soft: perfect for brunch! It will be ideal for a sunny picnic with its fresh taste. You will enjoy sharing it with your dearest friends, at home or during a festival!

GIN FROM THE VINEYARD: JUNIPER AND GRAPES GIN FROM THE VINEYARD: JUNIPER AND GRAPES

Using Ugni blanc as the neutral grape spirit base creates the roundness and structure to support G’Vine’s incomparable delicate balance of botanical aromas and spices. This elegant harmony is exactly what makes this Gin de France a favorite among all lovers of mixology. Fresh grape flowers Francouzský termín „nouaison“ označuje fázi po opylování květů, kdy začínají růst první mladé vinné plody. A právě vinné květy jsou hlavním gros G’Vine ginů, které díky nim vynikají nezaměnitelnou chutí. The ugni blanc grape is responsible for many of our favorite refined white wines and for our favorite, G’Vine. Originally from Italy, the grape was brought to France in the 14th century when the Pope briefly moved to Avignon in southern France. Once there, the grape flourished in the native climate and soil.Crafted in France, G’Vine is the original French gin crafted from grapes. Smooth and floral, G’Vine invites to discover a new gin perspective with a refreshing G’Vine & Tonic. The delicate aromas of cardamom and ginger are followed by smooth, subtle verdant flavors with flowers and spice. Most of the gin you drink originates with a neutral grain spirit: wheat, barley, rye, etc. Each grain results in a base spirit with different characteristics that affect the end product.

G?Vine Gin the revolutionary

Did you know that the earliest gins were made with grape brandy? With the rise of trade and ecological commerce, grains gradually replaced grapes as the basis for gin. Grains are cheaper to grow and cheaper to distill, and today make up nearly 99% of gin worldwide. In his quest for a truly original gin, master distiller Jean-Sébastien Robicquet came up with the radical idea of macerating vine blossoms in neutral grape spirit. He knew it was a risk, but one that he had to take. By gathering grape flowers during their few days of bloom in June, they would no longer be able to produce grapes for a traditional September harvest. Once macerated, he mixed in juniper and nine other plants and spices, creating a signature heady blend. Grapes: the secret to a fresh and floral gin Gin and lemon make for the perfect pairing, as shown by the success of the gin fizz, martini, gin and tonic, and Martinez. Grapes + fermentation = wine. Right? Sure. But fermented grapes can also end up as brandy, schnapps, beer… and even gin. This is the luxury French gin made from grapes which has a round, soft, vibrantly floral flavour. Once a year, for a few days only, the vine flower blossoms to life: this period is called Floraison in French, and this gin, G’Vine Floraison captures the essence of this ephemeral, exhilarating fragrance, and the warmth of the summer arrival as a key botanical. G?Vine Gin Floraison is well-rounded in character and neatly balanced in its aromas. The grapes that make the base of this gin are also detectable on the palate, alongside pleasantly powerful floral tones, finely complemented by the other carefully selected botanicals.
