The pure evoke 1S is a portable digital radio that can receive DAB, DAB+, DMB, and FM radio stations. It has an auto digital tuning feature for convenience and can store up to 30 preset stations. With an RMS rated power of 7W, the radio has a single, built-in speaker with a 76.2mm driver unit and a 3" subwoofer driver diameter. The radio includes an OLED display with a resolution of 128 x 22 pixels to provide clear and easy-to-read information. The display is not a touchscreen.Switch to Kerrang! for something a little more challenging – and more fitting for this radio – and you can enjoy plenty of detail, drive and rhythm, from a solidly balanced sound. I set the display parameters (menu button) so that in Standby the display goes out after 7 secs – this saves the life of the OLED and anyway DAB time is always wrong!
