I fell in love with the first one, but unfortunately the second bottle was already different from the first one and the last one. I could not get enough of the smell, and despite the public setting, I was not subtle with the self-sniffing. I don’t think I’d noticed it on her, but I like her general style, so I was looking forward to trying it. Now I smell mostly alcohol with a small remnant of what the scent once was - no staying power and zero sillage. When you first spray it's sharp then it sets in nicely and soft kind of reminds me of baby powder but more mature.

I liked this perfume, but I decluttered it years ago after one of my friends said I smelled like a grandma lol 🥲 It wasn't a very "me" scent anyways, but maybe I'll come back to it later in life! Like a vintage perfume bottle thats empty and has the smallest hint of the original scent left after the last drop has been sprayed decades ago. My mother adores this, her favourite flower is lily of the valley and she told me I smelled like a field of flowers. I have smelled it many times, and its not memorable for sure, but I still enjoy smelling it each time I wear it. I wore this one on my wedding day, but I was somewhat disappointed at its major lack of sillage and longevity.I’ve taken to spraying Amazing Grace on my clothes so I only get the sweet and bright stuff, but it inevitably seeps through onto my skin, and I am followed around by the smell of a heady musk. I'm sure this fragrance may pass as bland and utterly uninteresting to some people, especially if you prefer exotic, avant garde and unexpected scents.

It is a straightforward clean floral citrus musk – basic perhaps, but there can be beauty in simplicity.

Because sometimes we can smell something and think, well it's not UNpleasant, but I can't say that I really like it. PB Premiere Amazing Grace* (a spot-on dupe for Philosophy's AG, it just doesn't have as good longevity and sillage). I tried 'Amazing Grace' as that was the one which seemed to be most popular, but when I went in to smell my wrist I was just like "eh, is that it?

It gives a clean sensation with lots of lemons and tiny tiny apple accord, but very soon the lemony edges are tamed down by some feminine florals with rose and jasmine and fluffed with clean musk. NOT COMBINABLE WITH any other promotion, sale, discount, outlet item, or discounted value or gift set.They have a clean, soapy smell, so they are perfect for spraying right after showering and moisturizing your skin.

I just think that I know too many older women that wear this, so it’s hard for me to feel “young” and “modern” in it. what I love about philosophy is the fragrances are soapy and inoffensive but have a selection of powerfully emotive notes. I am nearly out and frankly dreading the prospect of finding more because I heard that recent versions have gotten weaker. I tried a sample of their face cream a while ago and I'm not sure if it's the exact same fragrance, but it's definitely similar.Now that I have learned more about fragrances after a few years, I have changed my mind and am trying to train my nostrils and artistic sensibility in the world of fragrances! Smells very clean like your clothes are clean and you have showered without doubt but totally unremarkable and mundane. I don’t smell much of the other notes on me, they definitely take a back seat and let the white florals do all the work. Have you ever stood next to someone who smelled like loud cheap laundry detergent slash crazy fabric softener? This is definitely a "fresh out of the shower" scent, so it's the kind of thing I would wear to the office or on a (casual, daytime) first date or just to hang out at my boyfriend's place to watch Netflix.
