Paramount Home Entertainment UK has officially announced that it will release on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray Damien Chazelle's Babylon (2022), starring Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Jean Smart, and Jovan Adepo.Babylon (Ultra HD 4K Blu-ray) The tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood. Included on the release are a handful of ‘Deleted and Extended Scenes’ from the film (running approximately 9 minutes in length altogether) along with a few Behind the Scenes Featurettes that explore bringing the film to life and featuring interviews/comments with the cast and crew, plus behind the scenes footage and more. The 4K version scores a BD-100 disc, a Region-Free BD-50 disc is saved for the 1080p presentation while an additional BD-25 is reserved for the bonus features.

Linus Sandgren’s cinematography compliments them, giving the first half of Babylon a gorgeous, glitzy sheen, then shifting the second half into a darker, moodier visual style.

Damien Chazelle's brazenly debauched Box Office bomb, Babylon, is an extravagantly excessive exercise in excess. Written and directed by Damien Chazelle (La La Land, Whiplash) who does an impressive job at the helm of ‘Babylon’ guiding along all of the beauty, insanity and chaos of the time that it showcases. As much as there is that I didn’t enjoy about Babylon there’s so much that’s so great that I know I will be revisiting this film several more times.
