In point of fact, the entire book had enough descriptive language to draw you in without bogging you down with minor details. This enabled the book to flow beautifully and made it very hard to put down. But the truth is a tangled web and Maria finds herself caught up in a far deadlier game than she ever realised. At the age of 18, he moved to Dublin to go to university to study business and marketing at Portobello College. He tried for two different majors: law, and business & marketing. But after a mishap that happened during a particular night of binge drinking, he realized that he registered for law, which means he joined the wrong queue. He would have changed it, however, the fees were already paid.

Now Mr. Cavanagh is an author I follow for any new books he writes.

I found the book hard going and I am soooooo disappointed I did as I loved the authors last book THIRTEEN ( one of my fav’s last year) but although as say its original Over the years, he worked in various legal-related fields, such as Personal Injury Law, Discrimination Law, Judicial Review, and Employment Law, while also giving lectures within Ireland and England in all sorts of legal fields, including being a leading civil rights lawyer in Northern Ireland. Everything that Joshua Kane has been doing throughout his entire life has been aimed towards this very moment. Comment Sophie White: Please don’t ask me whether I’ve given any thought to Christmas. Not bloody yet! 11:30 Outstanding. Totally absorbing and compelling. A masterpiece in thriller plotting - twists and turns at a ferocious pace, leading to a nail-biting conclusion. * Mel Sherrat *If you enjoyed Steve Cavanagh's last novel Thirteen, you'll love his latest, Twisted. A class act in every sense. * Paul Burston * If you love a story with a good twist and come on, who doesn’t? They do not come any better than this. What does the blurb say? unfortunately, the topic of this story nearly bored me to death. i really dont want to give anything away, because the synopsis is the vaguest thing ever, but the story revolves around a subject that i personally find so incredibly dull. its a motive thats quite cliché and a little anticlimactic. A fantastic standalone thriller. Punchy, ridiculously gripping, fast-paced, clever. Beautifully-plotted and incredibly fun to read. He's done it again. SUPERB.' Will Dean I stumbled upon the work of Steve Cavanagh early this year and have not been able to get enough. While Eddie Flynn is a wonderful protagonist, I enjoyed this standalone that permitted me to see a new and exciting side to this thrill writer. Cavanagh creates a wonderful story with a handful of basic characters, turning a simple reveal into a masterful game of cat and mouse. With a story in which the reader knows all and watches things play out, Cavanagh develops his narrative and takes it in many needed tangents before returning things for the final reveal. Cavanagh uses his strong characters and dialogue to pull the reader in, mixing short and longer chapters to create sustained interest. Once caught in the trap, all the reader can do is ‘read a little more’ to get their fix. I’m now a firm believer that Steve Cavanagh is one of those versatile authors who can turn any plot into a masterful novel. If only I did not have to wait so long for more!

Not whatever it is I got with Twisted. Although, despite my criticism, I really must say I enjoyed the story in general. There were certainly some plot twists I didn't see coming, it was just not the sort of twist I expected/wanted. The storyline is somewhat predictable in some cases. Maybe people who are really easily freaked out might enjoy this. As a result of this and the amazing Thirteen, Steve Cavanagh is definitely on my list of authors to read and recommend. This will be my last book. I won’t write another. The reason should be clear by the time you come to the end of the story. That’s an interesting word-story. Is this a true story? Is it a memoir? Or fiction? I can’t say… There are only two things you need to know:

Christmas Cards & Gift Wrap

Eddie Flynn used to be a con artist. Then he became a lawyer. Turns out the two aren't that different. I loved the way the book showed you the dull parts of police work without actually feeling boring. The addition of those scenes made the book realistic enough to make sense but deliberate enough to capture your interest.

The only problem is that the reporter is being protected by a guy named John Milton—perhaps the one man on the planet that is deadlier than him. The book opens with the memorial service for author, J.T. LeBeau, finally identified. LeBeau has been a cipher for years, turning out just one thriller a year. His fame and prestige soaring as his mystique grew. No one knew who he was, at least no one who was still alive. Oddly, his books bore more than a passing resemblance to a number of actual murders. When David Child, a top client of a discreditable New York law firm, is apprehended for murder, former fraudster-turned-attorney Eddie Flynn is approached by the FBI. This killer thriller more than lives up to its name with twists that left me breathless. A surefire hit from this master of the genre. * Steph Broadribb * So why the name Steve Cavanagh? While he was born as Steven Mearns, he took his mother’s maiden name, Cavanagh, as a tribute to her, as well as to separate his two identities: that of a legal thriller author and that of a lawyer. He writes under the name Steve Cavanagh and practices law under the name Steve Mearns. This book follows an author writing under the pen name J.T Lebeau, no one knows who he or she is, not even their publisher. Their acclaimed fiction books have many queueing outside bookshops (think Pottermania scale in the early 2000s). Everyone loves J.T. Lebeau and we can see why. No time to catch your breath I can't tell you too much about this book because the twisty thing. I don't want to spoil you. Of course, I have been known to spoil accidentally (and not accidentally) before so.... maybe I already have.
