For the first time, a copy of this card can be given to your returning player as well as the new folks they bring into your store. Each store will also receive two posters, one featuring art from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth and another featuring the Serialized 1 of 1 One Ring promotion. These posters may experience a delay arriving at EMEA WPN stores. Moving forward, we aim to ship your set marketing poster alongside the promo shipment.

Players must have a registered MTG Arena account using the same credentials as their Wizards account. Store Championship events are the perfect cap for The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth events to encourage a bit of friendly competition. Promo cards for this event include: On your turn, you’ll roll all five dice and examine the symbols that you receive. You can choose to keep any number of dice, but you must always keep at least one die, and you can’t keep two dice that show identical symbols from the same roll. For instance, if you roll the dice and receive three Ring results, you can only keep one of them. To gain more Rings, you’ll need to roll the dice again and see what happens! You’ll keep rolling the remaining dice on your turn until you’ve chosen to keep all of your dice. To help support your in-store demonstration experiences, we are sending The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth demo kits to WPN stores across the globe. While these kits were expected to ship alongside your promo shipment, they will now be arriving later than expected—we will update your store with expected arrival dates as they draw closer.

At a Commander Party, players will gather around a table to experience Commander with a special set of augmented rules. For The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth™, players will each have the opportunity to wield one of the Rings of Power. At the event, you'll have Play Aids for each table to remind them the abilities that come with each ring. The Middle Earth SBG system by Games Workshop caters to both newcomers and seasoned hobbyists alike. It provides an accessible entry point for those new to tabletop gaming while still offering complex mechanics that challenge experienced players. This fusion of accessibility and depth ensures that all enthusiasts can embark on memorable journeys through Middle Earth. EMEA Update: To ensure as many stores as possible in the EMEA region have their promotional materials on hand for the event, the Magic Celebration Event has new dates: July 14 – 16. You can reschedule your event in Wizards EventLink using our new event template. If you’ve already scheduled, be sure to also cancel your existing event. Store Championship is a structured in-store tournament that follows many Magic releases, and The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth is no different, with a Store Championship event during its season as well. These events can be a taste of competitive play for your community, leading into larger events like Regional Championship Qualifiers. If your store ends up with extra promotional materials such as dice sets, your store may use them to support Magic: The Gathering play events or promotions in accordance with the Surplus Promo policy.
