Comparison of viewable content on Surface devices with 3:2 aspect ratio v. laptops with 16:10 or 16:9 aspect ratio. However, there are a couple of areas where there's room for improvement. The battery life, while decent, could be better. Also, the pen occasionally experiences some latency, which can be a bit frustrating when you're in the middle of a detailed piece of work.

I mentioned the haptics earlier, and this is the Microsoft Surface Slim Pen 2's best and worst feature, in some ways, as it is fantastic but only if the app you're using supports the feature. Many art apps don't, and in this case, such as Rebelle 6, it can feel less impressive. The 2nd Gen Apple Pencil does the same thing when you magnetically attach it to compatible iPads, and it's one of the features we appreciate most.
