All in all, I feel that comparing the two latest iterations of the Novo and the Nord is a bit like comparing apples to oranges. They have a lot in common but are designed for different types of vapers. Don’t forget that, like all vaping devices, the SMOK Nord 4 is designed for charging through a computer. Don’t try charging the device with the wall adapter for a smartphone or tablet. If the Nord 4 doesn’t charge when you connect it to your computer – even after trying a different USB cable – you should try a different computer or USB port. SMOK Nord 4 Not Hitting Please make sure to fully comprehend the care and operation of the batteries/chargers you are using and how to care for them properly. A strong, satisfying hit is one thing that you should always be able to count on when you use the SMOK Nord 4. With 80 watts of power at your disposal, the Nord 4 produces enormous clouds compared to what you’d get with a first-generation pod system. If you experience weak hits with the Nord 4, these are the things that you should try.

The SMOK Nord 4 and Nord 5 have very similar pod system technology. The main difference is that the pods available for the Nord 4 will allow the user to use multiple different coils in the device with different pods. Handily, the two available coils are slightly different sizes so can only be inserted into their corresponding pod making it impossible to get wrong. The coils do need a little care to maximise their life and this is another reason I’d recommend the Nord 4 for someone with a little experience of vaping already. The maximum 1.4A fast charging brings continuous power for your efficient vaping life. While vaping, vaping time interface is displayed and the white LED light is on. After finishing vaping for 0.5 seconds, it will automatically return to the main interface. Closing down the airflow and using a higher resistance coil such as the 1.2 ohm RPM Quartz Coil will also provide a very satisfying MTL (Mouth to Lung) vape experience which makes this versatile kit suitable for all types of vapers.
