Description

Movies that include deep shots of landscape or what-have-you don’t get the depth of image you just know is available from other, more capable TVs. This means compatibility with AMD Freesync Premium, VRR, ALLM and your console’s other clever features, as well as eARC functionality. The Hisense QLED series E7HQ in 4K resolution is equipped with Quantum Dot technology, which allows the television to display a higher colour space and purer colours. The feet are wide set in the default position, but there's a narrow position if you have a small table and aren't planning on wall-mounting it.

The overly bright feel to the picture means you can at least make out lots of subtle shadow detail in dark areas, rather than getting the detail ‘crushing’ in dark areas you get with some LCD (and even one or two OLED) TVs.

It flickers at a high flicker frequency in all picture modes, even with motion interpolation enabled. HDR also looks much better on the U7H due to its wider color gamut, much better color volume, higher HDR peak brightness, and better PQ EOTF tracking, so HDR content is more accurate, more vibrant and lifelike, and bright highlights pop much more than on the Samsung. The Hisense E7K Pro is a 4K QLED TV with full-array backlighting (which Hisense refers to as ‘DLED’ for some reason) and a quad-core processor.

Also, make sure the enhanced setting is on for HDMI connections so it can display the full resolution and colour range etc. On the upside, the upscaling does quite well at making pictures look sharp, adding eye-catching emphasis and definition to lines, edges and textures. Similarly, i was worried when i couldn't find the remote control - but again I'm just a cretinous boomer - there's probably some bint named Alexa or Siri or Sue living inside the box who'll turn the TV on if you shout loud enough. Entry Quantum dot which offer excellent value for money, whether you're playing the latest games or into box sets, this is the perfect entertainment centre. The Hisense U7 has an optional motion interpolation feature that can affect the appearance of low frame rate content. There are a few features to reduce banding, but it doesn't appear to work properly and doesn't reduce banding in both test patterns and real content. Or you may prefer to use the VIDAA control app - it duplicates the remote control’s functionality, has a page for apps (and plenty of them), and is clear and logical to use. Based on the power usage when being viewed and in standby and the presence and effectiveness of power-saving features such as a light sensor or radio screen blanking.

It's available in a range of sizes from 55 up to a gigantic 100 inches, and all sizes deliver a nearly identical experience. While the Hisense has the same gaming features as the Samsung, it has slightly worse input lag and a much worse response time, so the Samsung is the better gaming TV.It’s not all that time-consuming to set up the Hisense, and it helpfully detects and flags HDR standards as soon as it recognises them.
