About this deal

His promise however doesn’t last for long, as his ten-year-old daughter is abducted by the leader of the Russian mafia in New York City, who is on trial for murder. When Eddie isn’t fully convinced by their approach, the FBI turns to arm twisting, presenting Eddie with implicating files on his wife. Eddie Flynn’s character was absolutely well written. The emotion and the weight of the burden he had to carry definitely resonates with the reader. Forced by circumstances to get involved in the trial, Eddie must win an unthinkable murder case in forty-eight hours.

Fifty-Fifty is the kind of legal thriller you’d want every legal thriller to be like. It’s the fifth in the Eddie Flynn series, but it is a self-contained case, and a new beginning for Eddie in some ways — and that’s why it is the perfect book to break into this series.

Before I began reading this book, I asked my mother, as well as my sister who they thought, would be the killer. My sister went by a wild guess while my mother guessed by looking at the cover of the book. After I finished this book, they were both right about the identity of the killer. I received this book for free from the Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Fifty-Fifty by Steve Cavanagh My favorite character is Kate Brooks. Her character development felt so good. There were many important topics touched in this book like the #metoo movement or the nation divided by race etc.

Fifty-Fifty has a razor-sharp narrative that will cut your throat. A disturbing test of morals that is so perfectly paced. It is as compulsive as it is dark. ABOUT THE AUTHOR That’s the beauty of her character, I think — Cavanagh has created a compelling character you’ll relate to, you’ll root for at the same time you’re following Eddie and wishing the same for him. Having gone through the agony of losing a daughter, Eddie Flynn is determined to rescue Caroline and return her to her family safely. Genres: Fiction, Thrillers, Crime, Suspense, Legal, Political, Psychological, Domestic, Mystery & Detective, International Mystery & CrimeShe had been playing a psychological chess game against her father and sister for years. Frank had found out. She was pretty sure of this, or at least he had some heavy- duty suspicions. And so, Daddy had to die ‘She’ Even if the story has a serious setting, it doesn’t feel boring. In fact, it keeps the reader on edge wanting to know more. Steve Cavanagh is an Irish international award-winning and bestselling author of mystery, thriller and crime novels. She is not only convinced that her sister murdered him, but also believes that she has the murder weapon and has not yet left the house. She’, the killer is aloof, calculating and determined. Her psychology appears to place the sadistic childhood both girls were subjected to by their mother as the catalyst. It made me wonder where their father was during this period. Leaving me unsurprised and unmoved to find out that one of his daughters mutilated his body during the murder. Are we to believe its the consequence of a father who was absent and even when present oblivious. Or is there even more to the rationale?

Steve Eddie Flynn [Series, Audiobooks 1-5 | E-Books 1-6] by Steve

The only problem is that the reporter is being protected by a guy named John Milton—perhaps the one man on the planet that is deadlier than him. But the sisters… I think these sisters would be the very picture of chalk and cheese — Alexandra is accomplished, put together and hates her sister. Sofia is fragile, and emotionally spent and hates her sister. So who is the killer? That is the question isn’t it? When David Child, a major client of a corrupt New York law firm, is arrested for murder, the FBI ask con-artist-turned-lawyer Eddie Flynn to secure Child as his client and force him to testify against the firm.Steve Cavanagh is an Irish author from Belfast and at the age of eighteen, he studied law by mistake. He is now the international award-winning author of the Eddie Flynn novels Everything that Joshua Kane has been doing throughout his entire life has been aimed towards this very moment. From the start, we begin suspecting both the sisters. The narration switch between each chapter is brilliant and it carries the entire story effortlessly. Alexandra Avellino has just found her father’s mutilated body, and needs the police right away. She believes her sister killed him, and that she is still in the house with a knife.

Every time I think I had caught the identity of the murderer, the very next chapter makes me rethink my choice. This happens almost throughout the book. But one of these women is lying. One of them is a murderer. Sitting in a jail cell, about to go on trial with her sister for murder, you might think that this is the last place she expected to be. For a crime thriller lover, this book is a good read. I rate this book a 4.5 out of 5. This is my honest and unbiased review. When David Child, a top client of a discreditable New York law firm, is apprehended for murder, former fraudster-turned-attorney Eddie Flynn is approached by the FBI. What I found unbelievable/ stretched the imagination until it was bent out of shape were the following two areas

The truth has no place in a courtroom. The only thing that matters is what the prosecution can prove.” I liked this book but not many of the characters, as the ones who were the most unpleasant took up a lot of space. But if he uses this evidence in court, both he and his client - the dead man's widow - will be in mortal danger. If I was on trial for a murder I committed, I’d be watching the lawyers too. Both sides. Making sure no one figures it all out, and if they get too close – bam.’ They were Hollywood's hottest power couple. They had the world at their feet. Now one of them is dead and Hollywood star Robert Solomon is charged with the brutal murder of his beautiful wife.
